The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, in the area of El Fort Pienc (Eixample). It is a stylish and comfortable place with great transport links. You will be located next to the emblematic Arc de Triomf, Ciutadella Park.
This apartment is perfect for couples, business travelers and families. Sits on the border of 3 different neighborhoods: El Born, Eixample and Sagrada. Explore the different neighborhoods and enjoy this bustling part of Barcelona. I hope you enjoy your stay!
The Space:
My stylish 2 bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting Barcelona. Conveniently located in the exciting area of El Fort Pinenc and with great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
The living area is light and airy with a beautiful, modern design and lovely finishing touches. Relax on the sofa, hang out with your friends, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kickback. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here!
The master bedroom has a super comfortable king-size bed. You don’t have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of storage room means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

- Bedroom 1: Double bed (with ensuite bathroom)
- Bedroom 2: Double bed

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is well connected to Paseig de Sant Joan, a wide avenue that connects the neighbourhood of Gràcia with the Arc del Triomf right by the Born district. It doesn't just link two of the city's coolest neighbourhoods, it has recently become the go-to place for Barcelona locals. The stretch between Carrer València and Carrer Casp and the surrounding area has been newly laid out making it ideal for cyclists and pedestrians. It has become a hotspot with interesting bars and restaurants, delightful shops and places that will simply amaze you. In a nutshell… you can't afford to miss it.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Tetuan (Line 2).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Apartment was less glamorous than what shown in pictures. There is not a lot of natural light, and furniture is dark and a bit run down. Building is old, with small elevators that is wonderful if you have a lot of stuff.In contrary what yoh would expect for an old brick building, it is poorly insulated: hollow walls, and ceiling make you hear all sort of conversation and noises. Internet WiFi is weak in bedrooms, and building. Apartment is clean and contain minimal toiletries (bring your own) Host is wonderful! Responsive and helpful. Allow to make the whole thing rather helpful. She was very accommodating with our request Location is great. Most of the things were 10-20min walk. Also 2 subway lines are few blocks away- which made it easy to go towards other parts of Barcelona.Not many shops in the area, a lot of quick food and coffee shops around.

Clean and spacious apartment in a great location. Check in using virtual keys slightly challenging for those who are not tech savvy but we figured it out. Check in is very late in the afternoon 5 pm so have a plan for the day. We arrived in Barcelona at 9 am but earlier check in was not available to us. The property managers very responsive when issues arose- our sink wasn’t draining …they had it fixed within 24 h, we couldn’t find the specialty coffee pods used by coffee maker in the super market…they sent a box over, etc. Especially good restaurant el Mercat at 35 Carrer de Casp not too far

This apartment is phenomenal. A great, centrally located apartment with all the amenities one could want in a VRBO. We are a family of 4 (two tween daughters) and had plenty of room to spread out. Apartment comes with a washer/dryer combo. Check-in/check-out very easy. Key is through an app which failed for us many times but there is a backup code that worked. Overall excellent apartment and highly recommend to a similar sized group.
