Just steps from the lake, this beautiful, family-friendly log home is going to make for the ideal setting to experience a wonderful summer vacation with the people you love! Inside, the home is open, spacious, and dressed with lots of comfortable furniture and thoughtful personal touches. The full kitchen has all the small and major appliances the family chef will need, plus ample counter space to assemble everything from a quick afternoon snack to a full-course meal for your dinner guests. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the back deck to enjoy those al-fresco meals and the private gas grill will ensure your family barbecues are a wild success. The kids will love romping around the secluded property while you share a few glasses of local wine with good friends on the deck's comfy furniture. You'll even have a wine fridge available to store your favorite bottles!
When it's time to wrap up an evening, you can watch your favorite movies and shows on the mounted flatscreen TV or head down to the firepit for some toasted 'Smores and some stargazing with the kids before retiring to one of the home's three well-appointed bedrooms. In the morning, head down to the dock to untie the family boat for an afternoon on the water! There is a short, gravel trail (1/10th of a mile) you will take down to the dock with some elevation changes along the path. There are lots of children's games for the little ones, and you can challenge someone to a game of cornhole then kick back in the home's central AC to enjoy a good novel. The private washer/dryer will ensure everyone's clothes are nice and clean during your stay. Don't forget to use the home's free WiFi to download a good playlist to your device or research a new lakeside adventure.

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my friend’s birthday! We were so happy that it had a dock, plenty of outside seating with a fire pit, and a grill. We had an 8 month old with us and didn’t feel like it was too hazardous for him. I think he had a blast! The king size bed and queen bed were very comfortable. The bunk bed mattresses were not that great- but I guess a kid would not feel the same as a 25 year old sleeping on it. There were plenty of towels and household items. We used the kayaks and were amazed at how many water accessories were in the shed. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay. Only qualm was not having the gate code given to us as we got our check-in information, but it was given quickly after we asked the host. Would highly recommend for a small family or two couples to stay for a long weekend.

Overall it was okay but there were things that were disappointing. The beds were the worst, limited (comfortable) sitting in the home, the ice maker didn't work, the decks and steps outside need to be cleaned. They were slick but not as slick as the floor when you walked in. We almost fell a few times. The walking trail to the dock was washed out, muddy and lots of ruts. We were unable to enjoy sitting outside as well.
