Cabin 12 is a 2-story log cabin at the Osborn Boat Ramp on Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana located 10 minutes from French Lick, Indiana
Great for multi family guests. Each Level has it's own entrance and porch. The lower level has anew 6 person hot tub. We have new cedar beds in the lower level. This cabin is perfect for larger groups. There is a new gas grill that is the perfect size for grilling for a large group.
The upper level has a bedroom with 2 beds, living area, streaming channels, gas fireplace, kitchen,full bathroom, and covered porch with outdoor furniture & ceiling fan. The lower level has a large open floor plan with living area, streaming channels, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, and covered porch with outdoor furniture & ceiling fan.
The kitchens have pots, pans, plates etc. You will need to bring spices and your food. The cabin has a gas grill. You will need to bring firewood. There is a gas station and Dollar General conveniently located 5 minutes form the cabin.
Bedding - 1 Queen and 1 Full in the bedroom upstairs, sofa bed in the living room, Downstairs has 4 full beds, 1 single sofa bed and 1 roll a way bed. Sleeps 16 comfortably.
No smoking inside cabins. Smoking is permitted on outside decks. Fire pit located by the lower-level porch. Swing set for the kids nearby. Games can be found in the cabin and on the porch. Hammock Forest, Outdoor Library and Hiking Trail on the property.

It is what we hoped for. We will be back this spring when I can work out a good week for my kids and grandkids.

The owners of this property were responsive months in advance in planning for our stay. They have gone to great effort to bring the comforts of home to their cabins. Kitchens were well stocked with many items needed in preperation and serving. Linens and bedding more than adequate. I gave 4 stars for advertising accuracy, but to be fair to owners...it was the previous renters who failed to raise awareness to the mgmt of a key missing pictured item often used for outdoor activities. Our site provided privacy and the large grill helped feed our group adequately. It rained and hampered some of our planned outdoor activities, but having a hot tub and local points of interest, helped with teenage and youthful boredom. Advice...contact sites to prearrange tickets ahead of your stay...some activities are sold out months in advance.Otis is truly a wonder to behold visually, and lots of interactive play on the site playground, for both kids and adults. Excellent family time, something for everyone, and we will be back. Hopefully filling more cabins next time. Thanks French Lick Cabins for all the memories.
