Kauai’s Most Breathtaking Views at Hanalei Bay Resort

Welcome to your Kauai paradise. Unit 9203 is located in the renowned Bamboo building which features the most stunning views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai.

This recently updated, air conditioned studio condo features a comfortable king size bed beneath a ceiling fan, looking out onto your private lanai overlooking Hanalei Bay. The kitchenette features a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, teapot, glasses, dishes, and silverware. The spacious bathroom features a shower and comfortable towels. The resort has washers and dryers located within steps of this unit.

Imagine yourself on the lanai with your morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the turquoise bay after spending the day at our nearby beach with our full compliment of beach toys including beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and coolers.

The Hanalei Bay Resort is a tropical paradise with eight hard surface and clay tennis courts, Kauai’s only swim up bar in a lagoon style pool, and a restaurant serving cocktails and dinner seven days a week. Concierge service, optional valet parking, golf cart transport around the resort and to the beach, tennis and pool amenities, and wi-fi are all included in the reasonable resort fees, see below. These fees are not included in this booking, they are to be paid directly to the resort upon check in.

Note that this unit may be combined with unit 9201 and 9202 to make a 1300 square foot two bedroom or 1750 square foot three bedroom oasis for up to eight guests. Please see VRBO listings 2374272 and 2375600 for rates and availability. Or if you'd like all three units see listing 2375681.

Non-Hanalei Bay Resort owners are subject to a daily Resort Fee of $25.00 plus tax, and a daily Parking Fee of $20.00 plus tax for each vehicle they bring. Owners with more than one vehicle will incur an additional Parking Fee.

The most gorgeous view! We loved watching the waves roll in and the majestic mountains while listening to the birds chirping; so beautiful! Laurie was a wonderful host and commentator as well. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was great to have access to the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. The resort is lovely as well with such pretty landscaping and a relaxing pool area with soothing water falls. Thanks for having us, Laurie!

The place had beautiful views! We enjoyed staying at Hanalei Bay Resort, with easy access to the beach and pools. The room itself, lacked some basic amenities…we ran out of toilet paper and body wash after the first day and had to go buy some. There were no mugs to drink coffee or tea in the morning.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a breathtaking view of Hanalei Bay. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and the mini kitchen made our stay so convenient. The décor was fresh, clean, and inviting, and everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It truly felt like a perfect getaway!

From the beginning, Laurie was attentive to our needs as guests. She provided lot of information to help make our stay as easy as possible. Her responses to messages were quick and thoughtful. She accommodated an early check in time for us, which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived, she had left a welcome message in the room with us as well as some treats for our stay. We loved the room and resort and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in paradise. Thank you Laurie!

We knew Hanalei Bay Resort was a solid choice, but Laurie and Steve’s place far exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff at HBR are exceptional, so friendly and accommodating. The hardest part is not wanting to leave the resort but knowing the rest of the island is as beautiful. Such an amazing home base, we can’t wait to come back!

All I need to say is the view of Hanalei bay is the most spectacular view you will ever have! Beautiful sunsets at night with a very comfortable bed. This condo is small but perfect for couples. The resort has an amazing pool but no swim up bar. And a beach that they will help get you and all beach gear there with a ride on a cart. There are daily resort/parking fees but didn’t care due to how beautiful it was! When we go to Kauai again we will definitely stay in this condo!

We had a great time here. We booked it because of the views. View was exactly as depicted. We went to Happy Talk and the pizza place each night. Went down to the beach or Tunnels Beach each day. Either way was superb. Great spot to judt vhill.

This property's view took our breath away! We looked at the pictures and wondered, will it really look like that? It exceeded our expectations! The airflow between the front door and the back door was WONDERFUL for keeping the climate cool in our room, both day and night! Way better than the A/C. The kitchenette was adequate for our 3 night stay. We would stay here again!

My hubby & I recently stayed here, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by lush greenery.One of the highlights was exploring the nearby hiking trails as well as spending time on the pristine beaches. Another bonus is having a fun bar/restaurant- "Happy Talk" on the property Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Kauai. We can’t wait to come back!

The pictures are 100% accurate with this stunning view. It easily is one of the best views you can get in Hanalei. The surrounding resort is beautiful, with a great casual restaurant and excellent facilities. Self parking is easy and we were always able to find a spot. The owner clearly cares about this property and is a lovely person. Room itself was immaculate and this is a great location for exploring Hanalei. Although it has a small fridge and a coffee maker, it is not a place where you can cook full meals, so don't expect that ; more akin to a hotel room in that way. Although you can see other balconies from yours, for us it did not affect our stay and actually this balcony felt more removed and private than many places we've stayed in Hawai'i due to no other balconies pressed directly against it. Would love to return!

The view was unbeatable. The size of the studio and amenities—very good. The grounds and club—great. But the bedspread, sheets and towels were old. Bedspread had a stain upon arrival. Bathroom vanity dated & seemed to be made of old parts. Mixed feelings.

Amazing views of Hanalaei! Room was clean and nice. Thought recommendations left by owner of things to do, see and where to eat. Resort is well maintained and staff is friendly. Only negative was neighbors in adjacent unit on the tail-end of stay blasting movies and music late at night and early morning.

We loved HBR! The perfect hybrid between a resort and a rental. The daily fees do add up but we thought it was worth it. The view was amazing and the grounds of the property are extremely well kept. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The private beach is unbeatable. The pool and hot tub were so peaceful and clean. Happy Talk Lounge and Wiki Pizza were great hangout spots too. We will be back!

As advertised, it was a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay. The overall property is lovely, but you cannot park near the condo. They offer golf cart shuttles, but really we ended up walking quite a distance to get to and from our car. Biggest complaint: calling this a one-bedroom condo is realllly a stretch. It's a studio. There's one room, with a bed in it. The "kitchenette" is in a closet in the bathroom (which is NOT "spacious"). There's no table for eating, except a bar table out on the balcony, which was a bit untidy, with worn furniture. No privacy, since the neighbor's balcony is about 10 feet away. The resort fees are steep. Seriously? $50 just to check in? Having said that, the location was lovely, the overall property was great, the view was really nice. We ate at the bar, which was nice, and the pool complex was very nice. But I wouldn't stay here again.

The resort did not disappoint in amenities, there are a couple pools, a hot tub, restaurant, tennis and pickleball courts and beach access! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the room had enough necessities and beach toys.

I was in awe the minute I opened the door and saw the view. We would be looking at for the next five days! Just breathtaking! A couple things to note upon arrival, the smoke detector was on the counter in the closet. And a few of the lights./outlets do not seem to be working. We would like to book the same unit and possibly an additional for next year same time! We plan to make this spot an annual event.

Laurie was such an amazing host! She was so responsive and on top of all of our questions. We utilized her rental vehicle on Turo and wow! I usually have to wait hour + at the rental cars at the airport this was less than 10 mins and we were off! The view is spectacular from the room, you over look the mountains and pictures don’t do it justice. We were minutes away from Hanalei and not too far from Tunnels. It was perfect. To get down to the beach on the property, it is quite a hill to walk up and down but if you have any trouble with walking you can always utilize the golf carts that will pick you up/drop off. Same goes for parking your vehicles since that is quite a walk as well (with luggage). An overall fantastic stay and we can’t wait to come again! Thank you so much!

Well appointed resort property, friendly staff and welcoming grounds here. The unit was very clean, has an exceptional view- best in complex for sunsets - and has just a few minor issues that are easily overlooked- small shower/ door hits the shower head and you have to squeeze in and out of the shower (I’m fairly small so it wasn’t a big deal), small refrigerator door and small drawer above it rub against the wall frame a bit. Fees disclosed in the property description had gone up a bit- I found this out at check in- parking fee daily and resort fee daily add up but you do get pool access, towels, golf cart shuttles, concierge service and other amenities. Owner was responsive and there were some refreshments upon arrival which was a nice touch and appreciated- also had a water filter in the fridge.

Even better than our first trip last year! The recliner/casual furniture was an exquisite addition to the lanai. As always our host and property were phenomenal! Two full weeks of amazing views abd pure bliss. Check in/chevk out process was seamless and everyone was very polite and courteous.

This unit has a beautiful view and is comfortable for 2 people. However, it is showing it's age and needs a bit of updating. My husband and I needed to work every day while we were there and this was challenging since there is not a desk or writing table. We accomplished 2 work stations by one of us on the lanai at the high top small table small table and inside using the bedside table. The "kitchenette" is just a small refrigerator, coffee pot and a microwave in the closet. As this is a private property on the resort, you can't get more towels, replacement wine openers, ironing boards, etc., if needed. We were left one hand towel and one wash cloth for 2 people for a 4 day stay. Not worth contacting the property manager as it was a minor inconvenience but it would be nice to have more towels. We had never been too Kauai and absolutely loved it. Definitely would come to this island again.

If you would like to wake up (and go to bed) with breathtaking views of Bali Hai, and be able to roll out of bed, walk down a lush forested-path to the beach where you can snorkel, or swim, or sit under a tree and read, then I would heartily recommend this property!
