Comfortable and user friendly with great views of mountains in quiet community
Bit dated. Door to upstairs bathroom doesn’t fully close. The sofa bed had a dead cockroach roach in it that appeared to have been squashed months ago. We found it when we unfolded it for use as a bed.
The house was located a bit too close to a neighbor’s house and he was working his property all day Sunday as I sat on the terrace, where he came very close repeatedly to remove brush.

1. Location.
Amazing location, right next to two outstanding beaches (hideaway and puu poa) that are 5-10 mins walk away.
You are also close to Hotel 1 for nice views and dining. Not far away, you also have Hanalei area for eating, shopping etc.
2. Facilities.
This place has an amazing view of the mountains, really nicely equipped, with all dishes/cookware/dishwasher/washing machine. Also convenient bathrooms and bedrooms and also living room area. There is also garden with trees, swing, parking around the house.
3. Host.
Communication was easy, and the issues were resolved if they came up.
There are cockroaches in the apartment, but this was not too bad and I only saw them once. I can imagine that this is common in Hawaii so not a big deal.

Everything was there for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook some meals and save some money too. The back porch was great. It felt like home away from home!
That darn rooster making all that noise at odd hours.
