Overall it was a very nice place at a good location with views.

Comfortable and user friendly with great views of mountains in quiet community

Bit dated. Door to upstairs bathroom doesn’t fully close. The sofa bed had a dead cockroach roach in it that appeared to have been squashed months ago. We found it when we unfolded it for use as a bed. The house was located a bit too close to a neighbor’s house and he was working his property all day Sunday as I sat on the terrace, where he came very close repeatedly to remove brush.

Amazing location and facilities. We really felt like at home here and felt super sad to leave.

1. Location. Amazing location, right next to two outstanding beaches (hideaway and puu poa) that are 5-10 mins walk away. You are also close to Hotel 1 for nice views and dining. Not far away, you also have Hanalei area for eating, shopping etc. 2. Facilities. This place has an amazing view of the mountains, really nicely equipped, with all dishes/cookware/dishwasher/washing machine. Also convenient bathrooms and bedrooms and also living room area. There is also garden with trees, swing, parking around the house. 3. Host. Communication was easy, and the issues were resolved if they came up.

There are cockroaches in the apartment, but this was not too bad and I only saw them once. I can imagine that this is common in Hawaii so not a big deal.

We loved coming home to #24.

Everything was there for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook some meals and save some money too. The back porch was great. It felt like home away from home!

Location!!!! While not presenting ocean views, this property is across the street from Hideaway Beach, one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island. Also, the Princeville area has a more laid back ambiance that should provide you with that opportunity to kick back, relax and enjoy that island time.

When we arrived everything was in order and there were no problems with entry into the property. The single problem we encountered with the property was on the first morning we realized the refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly. This is something that should have been fixed before we moved in. Fortunately, we hadn’t bought any type of groceries that spoiled, but we were told that a part had to be ordered to effect repair meaning we wouldn’t have full access to refrigeration until halfway through our stay, meaning we would have to go to store/restaurant each evening the fridge wasn’t working. Property staff were responsive to our needs, THANKS MARIA AND DREW, and provided several bags of ice for our cooler to get us through till the repair was performed. They also refunded $100/night that we were without refrigeration which I considered an exceptional response to the situation.

Favorite stay during my Hawaii trip

Nice and large free-standing house with lots of light and well equipped rooms. Nice views from the balcony and a 2 mins walk brings you to a fantastic sunset viewpoint. Lots of board games, puzzles, and books available to pass the time during an occasional rain shower. Check-in worked flawlessly and the concierge service helped with organizing and booking different trips.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, we had not been to Kauai for 10 years and were amazed at the growth.

Location was good, easy access to sights and amenities.

Roosters crowing at 3a.m., seem like they have their days and nights mixed up. Some cookware needs to be replaced. There should be a list of operatiing instructions for television/remotes etc.
