Beautiful Ocean View Air-Conditioned unit and just a short hike to the beach. Emmalani Court is a small, quiet condominium complex located near the newly renovated 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay in Princeville and the Princeville Makai Golf Course. This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit is located on the second floor with a King bed in the main bedroom, and 2 double beds in the guest bedroom, plus ocean views from the main living area and the main bedroom. The living and dining area feature an open concept with a well-stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances. There is Air Conditioning included in the whole unit. You have dedicated WIFI and cable with HD televisions in both bedrooms and the living room. The main bedroom and bath can be closed off for privacy. There is also an open lanai with a dining table and seating for 4 guests. The unit features a washer and dryer. You will have access to the large pool with a hot tub, and a club house with several shared BBQ’s. Free parking is included in the nearby parking area.
From the minute that you walk in the unit you can see the beautiful views and the adjacent golf course. There is also a connecting path nearby that will take you to Hideaways beach and Pali Ke Kua beach. A 10 minute walk will take you to the new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay or an approximate 20 minute walk will take you to the Princeville Shopping Center (two miles). There you will find retail shops, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, a gas station, a food and deli grocery store and a public library and park. A short drive will take you to gorgeous Hanalei Bay and a scenic drive along Kuhio Highway will take you to the trail head for the Na Pali Coast.

My family and I stayed at this vrbo in 2023 and absolutely had one of the most memorable experiences that we have ever had. Not only was it clean, spacious, safe, conveniently located adjacent to many ideal spots that are family friendly (Hanalei, Foodland, Anini Beacb, etc) , the communication was prompt and helpful. We decided to return this year, in 2025, and overall enjoyed the experience once again. There were, however, issues that we encountered this time around that are to be expected , but nonetheless troubling: cockroaches, some mature adults and some nymphs. About 12-14 in total mainly found around the sinks and a few in the bathrooms. We made sure to throw away any remnants of food daily. Thankfully, our property manager responded promptly and offered to either fumigate or deliver some basic pest traps to plave around the condo. Overall, we would recommend the condo despite the aforementioned issue. Most likely, it was an anomaly.

Great Princeville condo. We enjoyed our stay at Emmalani court and I would return. This is an end unit on the 2nd floor of a 2-story walk up. As soon as we arrived I was amazed at how much space this condo has. During the day it got a nice breeze if we had the windows and screen door open. It was nice to have AC to sleep with. We have had some other condos where chickens woke us up but that really wasn't an issue here. Everyday we loved seeing nene goose walk about on the lawn in the morning sunshine. This unit is a pretty close walk to the pool. The pool and hot tub were adequate. The lounge area by the pool was nice. My kids only complaint was that they wished there more kids hanging by the pool to swim with. Overall a great place. It had a LARGE rolling cooler available. I would have preferred a smaller one we could carry with us. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. I appreciated having a little cooking oil, S&P and sugar. The property manager's communication by email and phone was excellent and friendly. Mahalo

We really enjoyed this stay and it was perfect for our family with two small kids. The sunsets were incredible and we could walk out to see whales every evening. Would highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat!

The location can’t be beat. Walking distance to Hideaways, Querns Bath and more. Best sunset views right out in front of the unit. The unit needed a bit of TLC though, but overall, it was great for my wife and I and our 3 teens.

We have stayed Emmalani court before, but not in this unit. The unit is in the first building as you drive in on the right, at the end of the walkway and located upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked with dishwashing soap, dishwashing liquid coffee maker, and any kitchen utensil that you could possibly think of. The icemaker is currently not working, but there are MANY ice trays which make packing an ice chest easy. There is also a good sized ice chest that rolls, three adult beach chairs, two child size beach chairs, a boogie board, snorkeling, equipment, children’s sand toys. The washer and dryer came in very handy, so you can pack lightly. There are also plenty of beach towels in the master bathroom closet and lots of clothes hangers. The unit is very spacious and the air conditioning units work great. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owner and management team for offering and allowing us to stay in this beautiful unit.

We found this home to be well maintained with all the amenities needed for a comfortable vacation. The living room views of the golf course and ocean are lovely. Be sure to walk to the ocean front area at sunset. Breathtaking! We used the beach chairs and snorkeling equipment daily. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to return!

This was the perfect spot for our family of six. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and ending the evenings in the hot tub. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Highly recommend this lovely condominium ! It was spotless, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had great communication with the property management. Easy check in and check out process. Clean with smoke towels, cooler, beach chairs. Fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of rainbow over the ocean on our first day. Lots of books to read. Sadly the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance issues while we were there. But everything else was great. Appreciated flexibility with late check out options and would stay here again. One of the most beautiful places in this special island.

I think it was great! We went with kids and really enjoyed pool and snorkeling at the private beach walking distance from the condo. The condo was easy to get in, equipped with all essentials. There was a problem at some point with WiFi and AC, but the owner stopped by within 10 minutes and worked on fixing it, it was very nice of him!! Having 2 double beds for our 2 kids was convenient too, as I was able to sleep with them with full comfort, when one got sick. Downsides: Chickens and birds are loud in the neighborhood, bring earplugs. And my husband did not have success with coffeemaker. Otherwise very pleasant stay, thank you!!

We loved staying here for a vacation with our family of 4 (two adults and two preschool age kids). The condo had everything we needed to cook meals, enjoy the beach (plenty of chairs, beach toys, a cooler, a boogie board, and ice packs), and relax. The on-site pool was the perfect size and temperature for our kids (we went every day), and also turned out to be a great spot for a poolside dinner one evening. Communication with Na Pali Properties was really easy. When we arrived, the coffee maker did not work, but they brought over a new one the same day, which was much appreciated. We would definitely love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very close to a lot of good beaches and food and was comfortable for the whole family. Only complaints were a few things needed to be fixed/updated and when we came in there was a centipede on the floor...water filter in the fridge needed to be replaced along with the filter in the AC unit in one of the rooms. Ice machine didn't work in the fridge as well and also the sink drains were broken. Lastly the cable/internet didn't work on the first day but the property manager had a tech come out the next day to fix it. Property is overall a solid place to stay just needs a little love here and there.

We've been to Kauai three times now, and Big Island four times, coming from Canada. This was the best location we've stayed in Kauai for sunset viewing, which is my favourite activity! You can walk out on the adjacent golf course each evening for sunset viewing from cliffs overlooking the ocean. As for the condo itself, it is right on the main Princeville road (separated by a huge fern hedge), but not too noisy except for the second bedroom which faces the road. the balcony is on the corner of the unit facing towards the ocean, but there are no direct views as it's a ways off. We also didn't use it much for dining as it rains every day and the balcony is only partly covered, so it was always wet. The kitchen was very well-stocked with utensils, dishes and such. Nice appliances. The open concept is great, the living area has wonderful windows facing the lawn and is very bright. Nice furnishings, but we don't like glass dining tables (I'm not sure anyone could). Minor inconvenience though. The location is great walking distance to Hideaways beach, the Hotel 1 beach and Queen's Bath, all of which we walked to several times. The condo came with good beach chairs, but the beach umbrella was flimsy so we bought our own. There were no boogie boards so we bought our own at Costco and left one behind. Snorkle gear was minimal but we brought our own. The condo pool area is nice but a bit small. Loved the hot tub and the communal BBQ area is there as well with tables to sit at.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with our 3 children in Kauai this year. We were all so thankful that we made the choice to book our 10 day vacation in Princeville at this location, closer to the Northshore. Not only was it spacious enough to accommodate all 5 of us, but it was conveniently located near so many restaurants, beaches, and places of interest. The condo was exactly as described and was replete with so many essential items that made our stay extremely comfortable. Our point of contact also answered any questions and concerns we had with the utmost courtesy and promptness. We highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in visiting Kauai.

This is our third stay at Emmalani Court. We prefer this complex because of the excellent location. This property has extra little touches which made our stay even more enjoyable such as beach chairs, a boogie board, and a white noise machine. Excellent communication with the property manager, and check in/out was a breeze. Highly recommended.

This property is clean, spacious, and simply furnished with a beautiful view of sunrises and sunsets. This is our favorite condo in this property because it is private, quiet, and clean - fully equipped with everything we need for cooking and caring for our family in comfort. The washer and dryer on site are super convenient, the wifi was excellent (unfortunately a must for everyone as we have to keep up with work a bit, even on vacation, and our kids like to unwind with devices too), the air conditioning was great, and they even had beach chairs, an umbrella and a mask/fins for use if needed. The property manager is great - very professional and helpful. We will definitely be returning when we can to this rental - thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay here. Below are some details that may help you decide if the place is for you: The two bedroom areas are nicely isolated from each other. For both, you can close doors such that you have full access to the en-suite but are fully isolated from the main living area. Very little sound travels from one to the other. The view of the water is very limited. The view of the garden is nice. You can take a short walk and see amazing views of sunrise and sunset. The place is a mix of new stuff, not new stuff, and some fairly OLD stuff. If you are an HGTV addict and need a modern kitchen with all of the bells, this isn’t your place. The owner keeps things until they wear out before replacing them, which is the environmentally responsible thing to do. So the flooring is old, the range is the old spiral heating element type (my kids had never seen one of those), but it all seems to work. And we cooked almost every meal in (lines at the restaurants were crazy in July) and found the kitchen to be WELL equipped. The sense of privacy with this end-unit is very good, relative to the other places I’ve stayed on the island. This isn’t the place for you if you want an easy walk to the beach. The nearest beach requires doing an aggressive hike that involves clinging to ropes. Plan on getting into the car and driving to the beach most days. There are tons of amazing beaches within 15 minutes so you won’t regret choosing Princeville, as long as you understand the preceding. Make sure you understand the seasonal surf trends when you are deciding which part of the island to stay on. Princeville has major surf in winter, but is generally flat in the summer. The nearby snorkel locations are great in the summer. The south shore (Poipu) is the opposite, with great snorkeling in the winter and big surf in the summer.

I would definitely recommend this property, especially for a small family. It was perfect for us with 3 young teenagers/tweener who had their own bedroom/space separate from the master bedroom. Gave us privacy as well as the kids. It was nice to have the pool available when we were not at the beach. Everything was clean with great amenities. Beautiful views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout is very smart, doors (and locks-if you need) assure privacy and relative quiet. We especially enjoyed the view from the big front and side windows. As in many rental condos, we encountered an unfamiliar TV/remote control but management came over right away to help with this (thanks, Joe). They also got a plumbing problem that they hadn't known about fixed right away.
