Well appointed fully equipped kitchen, accommodating up to 6-8 people, in a total of 1300 square feet of living space. Please note that the upper loft bedroom does not have a door. Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-302 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.

This is an amazing home base in Poipu that is clean, recently renovated, has a beautiful balcony with ocean views, reasonably priced and was a pleasure to stay in. Would definitely come back.

All about the views! This three level layout worked very well for our family with adult children and their spouses. The main kitchen/living and deck space was big enough to share meal making and whale watching, and the ensuite bathrooms gave every couple enough space at night. BBQ area has new grills, and the hot tub was enjoyed in the evenings. Short walk to beaches in either direction, and tennis courts never too busy. Not super fancy, but very comfortable. We would def recommend!

We enjoyed our stay, but there are improvements the host could make. For the pros:-Beautiful view-Great location-Easy check-in-three bedrooms, three bathroomsCons:-Property was missing basic amenities, such as the rooms were missing lightbulbs, overhead lights not working, not all the tvs were working, and the clickers were missing batteries -Cleanliness - The overall cleanliness of the place was poor. The blankets are clearly not washed between guests as we noticed several issues with them and needed to do our own wash of all linens. The AC units have clearly not been cleaned for a long time and I think that may be contributing to them not always working well. -The door to the lanai does not close properly and so it was hard to maintain a temperature in the living room -The property could use updating and had many damaged sections of the walls-The loft bedroom does not have a door so it is important to note this for future guests. The loft room also does not have any hooks so there is no place to hang your towel.
