    We travelled as a family of 5 with kids aged 13, 10 and 5. Our stay was just two nights after a longer stint on the north shore, so we did not really test out all of the facilities. If you are looking for shiny new luxury, this is not it. The buildings are dated and our condo, whilst pleasant and clean, could do with an update. The kitchen was well stocked and the laundry facilities were great. Beds were comfortable and ample towels and sheets were provided. After hours check-in was straightforward and the staff member I dealt with was lovely and accommodating. Now to the real selling point: LOCATION. The views are nothing short of majestic to the east and west. Turtles bob around in the water just outside our windows, the waves crash spectacularly on the rocks. The lanai and the master bedroom window (huge picture window) look directly out to these vistas. The pool is literally on the rock ledge and the tiny rocky cove over the railings is teeming with turtles; sunset from the pool deck is absolutely spectacular. It's 5 minutes walk from Brennecke' Beach, 10 minutes from Poipu (and the turtles coming ashore). Lots of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. By Kaua'i standards it was remarkably affordable for its location. I would happily stay here again.

    What a special location to start our family vacation! Great shoreline views, loved seeing the Spinner Dolphins jumping out and in the water from our balcony in the mornings, and frequently viewing the green sea turtles just yards away playing in the surf throughout the day. We all found the breakers crashing into the rocks both entertaining and soothing. We were all sorry to "Wave Goodbye" but knew it was time to allow others to have an opportunity to make lasting memories of their own here.
