Perfect top floor for 2 couples

Virtually everything, the Lanai was perfect for the HI winter weather. So nice

Excellent quiet location.

Thank you for the treats left for breakfast. the room was clean and well furnished and the hosts were excellent. I had some difficult with the men box on arrival and was helped by the cab driver and had to call the hosts( who were very helpful). My room was a little cold and there was not a spare blanket and it took me a while to work out how to turn the air-conditioning on. I really enjoyed my stay and the hospitality was excellent.

More variety for breakfast, an extra bed cover. otherwise all was very good.

Very clean and a great location. The full kitchen was great to have to make home cooked meals and save since food is very expensive on the island.

Loved this place and our stay here!

It was clean and comfortable. The owners left a very nice welcome basket with coffee and goodies that was much appreciated. The front porch is quiet and has comfortable furnishings for relaxing. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and more peaceful than property right on the beach. They also provided 2 big beach towels, 3 beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which was all very nice to have.

We wished it had a washer and dryer, but managed without it. Two additional beach towels and a boogie board would have been awesome to have.

Neglected studio

Position- good location

Old & ugly furnishings- floor tiles missing grout & always seemed dirty - screen door wouldn’t stay in - told host about it but no action taken. Inconsistent shower & rust marks on wall. Air-con was portable unit placed on lounge floor Basically tired accomodation with no care considered for guests- not value for money

Hideaway in Poipu

Kitchen with good range of utensils and condiments to allow a nice extened stay. nice location to get to Poipu beach.

Problem with electrics in 2nd bedroom for the first few nights - Dale did try to sort it out with electrician quickly but took a few days, so probably some bigger issues than just a blown fuse or circuitry problem. Need some lights above the outdoor table, and for the front door - not easy to see in the dark.

Besides the cockroaches……???? We had the dolphin studio which was well appointed and comfortable. However….upstairs neighbor seemed to be arranging furniture all through the night. Loud scraping noises, heavy footsteps and very loud music. Very hard to sleep.

The communication was great. The accommodations and location was great. You have every thing that we need. The only improvement that needs is a NEW SHOWER HANDLE and a little more water pressure on the shower. I will recommend the place

A most pleasant stay at Hideaway Cove Poipu Beach

The accommodation is in a phenomenal location- on a quiet street just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to many restaurant options. Parking was easy. Being situated at the south end of the island made it easy to get to attractions on both the east and west side of the island. The accommodation felt like home immediately. We loved sitting at the table on the front porch, admiring the trees and other tropical plants on the property. We ate many of our meals out there. The accommodation is very well provisioned with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Check-in was extremely easy and the host super-responsive. We also loved that the laundry facilities on the property were free and conveniently located. I also appreciated how easy check-out was- not the typical list of check-out instructions- just a message thanking us for our stay.

We only had one minor glitch. The apartment above us has a jacuzzi with a pump that was malfunctioning such that it turned on every couple hours throughout the night. The vibration and sound woke us up the first two nights. The host turned off the pump so it was no longer an issue but future guests may want to inquire whether it’s been fixed. Also, the floors are thin- so you will hear your upstairs neighbor unless they tip toe around. Not a problem for us but others may find it annoying.

I would like to stay here again!

Quiet, treehouse feel close to beach. Large and comfortable common spaces with two nice bedrooms and baths…privacy and togetherness! Kitchen well furnished with new appliances and ample dishes, cooking things. Nice hot tub and lovely decks.

Mattress in master bedroom was too soft, bit lumpy. All else was great

The best property we stayed at during our trip to Hawaii, by far. Great Location, and everything we needed in the suite. Loved having a grill out front. The parking was easy. The host was responsive. No complaints at all. We even loved Mommy Cat that hung out front. We renamed her Meowie.

we stayed in the Dolphin suite - which is perfect for a couple. The property is great - comfortable, quiet, and close to all the things we wanted to do in Kauai. The management of the property is just wonderful.

We had a wonderful time. The place was clean and a great location. The grounds are beautiful.

There were a few maintenance issues that probably should have been caught before we arrived. Light bulbs in the shower needed changing and the main remote needed batteries. Also the parking situation could be better marked. Someone checked in while we were there and took up both parking spaces. It probably wouldn't happen if it was clear where to park.

Exceptional

The views around the property and landscape of this house are breath taking. Everything is literally 5 to 10 minutes away from shopping to restaurants. The beaches are walking distance. There is also someone always there tending to the property during the day to fix or help with anything a tenant needs.

The house is beautiful inside and out but it could use a small face lift. Some stuff is a little outdated and others just need to be replaced. Your paying more for the location not the place.

Tropical oasis with beautiful birds singing ( and I’m not talking Kauai chickens!) 😉

Hideaway Cove has a beautiful tropical garden feel. The bed is very comfortable! The location can’t be beat- it’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. This was our second stay here, the first time was in the Coral suite, this time the Dolphin studio. It’s a beautiful, quiet place.

Really romantic studio apartment is truly hidden away.

This romantic studio is in a lovely hidden location among leafy tropical landscaping. Delightful mostly private patio. Washer and dryer shared among all 4 apartments. Complete kitchen with dishwasher, full size frig, large bathroom with walk-in shower. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable for an extended stay.

I had trouble with the code on the lockbox, got help from another tenant which didn't fix the problem, but called the owner and he answered right away and explained it. Take a scrub brush to the shower window fixtures.

We loved that it was clean, had air conditioning, and all the amenities we could want. It was perfect!

For us it exceeded our expectations and we want to stay there again when we come back.
