Terrible experience

Nothing. Location was ok.

Terrible experience. Started with the toilet being turned off and the tank empty when we got there. Reached out to the property manager and they said everything was working before we walked in the door?? Took them 18 hours (8:51 p.m. to 3:03 p.m) to fix it so we didn’t have a working toilet through the night. I had to find a bucket on my own to use to fill with water and get it to flush. We also could walk about 8-10 minutes down to the beach and use those filthy toilets or ask the local restaurants. Next issue was a concern of our privacy in the bathroom. There was a large hole in the wall (partially covered with a picture) and I mean LARGE that led to a closet/storage area. If someone was in the closet, they could see directly into the shower. The hole was big enough to where someone could tip the picture out and literally grab you. Pictures attached. When I raised this with the property manager (who you never actually see on site), they simply said that nobody was in the closet so don’t worry about it. Really??? Lastly was the bathroom was disgusting. More pictures attached. I asked for a partial refund and they said they would mail us a check (even asked for the mailing address). No check and they stopped responding to my follow-ups.

Relaxing time near Poipu Beach enjoying turtles, whales, and monk seals

The location can't be beat. Two minutes out the gate and you have a view of the water. In five minutes you are at a beautiful beach. The proximity to Poipu Beach and the sealife on and off shore makes this space perfect for a relaxing beach holiday.

I would have liked basic kitchen facilities to enjoy fruit and make smoothies.

Old School Charm in Poipu

Our room in the house was fantastic, old school charm abound within. We loved the layout of it. The entire plantation style house was in excellent repair and the plantings were very nicely done as well. Our balcony was perfectly secluded yet you could see the ocean. Nat at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. When we come back to Pouipo we will be booking this gem again for sure!

The only complaint that we have is instant coffee...rough. A Keurig at bare minimum.

Nice time in Poipu, worst property I have been in in Hawaii

Check in after 3, office closed before 4:30, toilet keep running even after telling office breakfast was one coffee cup for 5 units, cold water not sure how old it was, sticking bathroom door, broken blinds. U driveway closed at one end. Units looked over 50 years old. Thick dust on head board even with $250 cleaning fee. Not worth cost in nice area of Kauai. Manager was about a 90 years old old lady that didn’t care

Amazing location, comfortable beds, and staff were very responsive.

Room and facilities were very outdated and not clean. There was very little ventilation in the bathroom, causing mold to grow in some places. Neighbors could also be heard walking around as walls were thin/not very soundproof.

A wonderful stay in Poipu Beach!

The location was wonderful - a few minutes to top beaches. The provision of beach towels, umbrellas and chairs was a great bonus. We also made regular use of the water cooler in the shared lounge space as well. In the room itself the aircon was very effective and there was a lot of wardrobe space for hanging things. Overall we had a super comfortable stay and really enjoyed our time in Kauai at this property.

We could never quite figure out how to use the TV! The water cooler ran out of water on the penultimate day of our stay and ran tepid rather than cold - unsure how frequently anyone comes to check on this. Despite multiple attempts we never managed to meet anyone in person at the office, though the property were very quick to respond via email when we had a minor issue in the room and this was resolved very quickly which was great.

the location was great! the apartment was spacious and the grounds were beautiful. easy walk to poipu bneach where all the Hunus were coming to the beach at sunset.

there was other peoples hair on the bathroom floor, quite a few! the kitchen was missing a strainer and a owl for making pasta or a salad.

Hidden gem

Such a beautiful unit hidden away in the beautiful landscape. 5 minutes walk from the beach and the amazing turtles that come up onto land at night. The unit is fully equipped and super comfortable

I never, ever saw a member of staff. My Aircon didn't work and I messaged them and asked them to fix it which they never did.

Advertised air conditioning. They only had it in the living room. The bedroom and bathroom was uncomfortably warm. The TV didn’t not work for 3 days. No light switches to turn ceiling lights on or off. Could not find the outside lights to turn on in the dark to walk up the steps to the unit. No tv in the bedroom.

A quiet place to stay for a few days

The apartment was very comfortable with ocean view & walking distance to the small beach & shopping village. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

There’s a steep staircase to get to the apt but it wasn’t a problem for us but it might be for others. FYI The office is open but only to pick up the key and drop it off. No facilities for a family with kids, ibut great for a couple.

The location was perfect for us, it was very clean and tidy when we got there. The kitchen was appointed well with everything we needed to cook all meals. I loved the shower soaps already in the shower, I didn’t need to bring my own, that was a nice touch.

The bedroom stayed kinda hot, regardless of the fan being on high the whole time. Other than the mix up with our room “being canceled” in the beginning of our check in process everything was lovely.

Very comfortable suite, with everything provided. Very clean, close to beaches and everything from beach towels to sun umbrella and chairs provided.

We chose a water/ocean view, which meant climbing (and toting luggage, etc. up and down) 18 stairs to our lodging. Too much for 70 year olds during a week-long stay. We’d choose garden view or similar to avoid the stairs if we returned to this property.
