We loved the location and the old plantation house.
Fortunately most of the other rooms in the house were empty during our stay. Otherwise it would have been too crowded.

Poipu Plantation Vacation Rentals was the perfect place for us to stay for our trip to Kauai. It was just a 10 minute walk to Poipu beach and we went there every night to watch the sea turtles come onto the beach in the evening. Our host Pete was so friendly and helpful. He told us lots of interesting things to see and do. We had the best time, thank you for everything.

What I liked most about this property was how warm, cozy, and authentic it felt like it really captured the charm of Kauai. The vacation rental was thoughtfully stocked with beach essentials, including chairs, umbrellas, and towels, which made our beach days so much easier. It was also very cute, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The only downside was that I wish I had been more aware of which suite I booked. Based on some of the listing photos, I expected to have a full kitchen, but my suite only had a mini fridge. That was more of a misunderstanding on my part than an issue with the property, but clearer photos or labels for each suite’s amenities would have helped set expectations.
