Villa Levante

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a nice size. The person at reception / on the front desk was always very helpful. The grounds were nice and calm.

The property needs a little care and maintenance. The WiFi didn’t reach my room. I felt a little overlooked in the restaurant and on my last morning they seemed to forget I was staying there as they hadn’t laid out breakfast.

Clean, well decorated in 200 years old building, ambiance , breakfast and hospitality was very good.

I liked that it is a small place surrounded by gardens and with an interesting history. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was nice, the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were good. The shower probably needs a descaling because it did not spray evenly.

The weekend was a nightmare though, they rent the villa out for private parties that last until 11:30 midnight with loud techno music and huge gatherings of people. All the peacefulness of the week is shattered - When I was there Friday night had a massive graduation techno party, Saturday had a somewhat quieter engagement party but still crowded and Sunday night was the worst with over 300 people and loud music booming right into my room until 11:30PM. I had to travel early the next morning and do some work, I was not able to work that evening and ended up going to sleep much later than I had wanted. Make sure they do not have these parties on the nights you will stay there.
