There is an excellent breakfast buffet well worth the cost to include in the room reservation. The selections, custom orders, quality of food was remarkable. The staff was very attentive. The hours were also flexible to accommodate our early flight or lazy mornings. The location is also very convenient, right by the Kordon shore or close to shopping districts, about 15 minute walk to famous Kemeralti bazaar.

Although there is free instant coffee in the room and a Nespresso machine, the coffee pods for Nespresso are extra cost. We did not need the coffee but if you are picky about your caffein choices it is extra.

Peaceful heaven in Izmir

Everything was perfect: the spotlessly clean and cozy room, the facilities (especially the pool!), the location, the breakfast buffet with great choice. Our warm thanks to the whole team of the hotel!

It would be nice if the terms of security deposit were stated clearly and more explicitly either on Booking or on the hotel's website. We were aware of its existence, but it came as a surprise that the sum of 100 euros is actually per night, and debit cards cannot be used for reserving it. Fortunately, in case of our short stay we had enough extra cash to make the deposit, but be it a longer stay it might have become a very unfortunate circumstance.

Clean rooms, excellent food, good location and friendly, supportive staff

very confusing labelling. It took me a while to find my way from my room to the pool. Instead of labelling the rooms in block C with a 3 at the beginning, they could have been kabellos with a C. The other thing, which I didn’t like, was, that before checkout the minibar had to be checked first and I needed to go to the airport. Fortunately the receptionist in charge was very eager to help and so this matter could be settled quickly.

Hight standard hotel with great story!

Breakfast was excellent, fantastic delicacies for every taste, I especially recommend the morning tea. The presence of a swimming pool in this area gives my father more comfort, with a heat of 41 degrees Celsius in mid-September, there is a place to refresh.

We extended out stay for one more night but with the low price room, but staff was so kind to leave us in the same room without additional payment.

Perfect to relax

Good location, very beautiful hotel, good pool, good food, nice art gallery.

Despite the kindness of the staff, the service response is problematic. We waited 40 minutes for someone to come and fix an issue with the safe, but no one showed up. As in other hotels in Turkey, a deposit is required for expenses during the stay, which creates an unpleasant atmosphere of mistrust.

ridiculously overpriced and bad service though nice location and ambience

Perfect location. Delightfully comfortable beds. Absolutely exquisite pool and garden if you’re not unlucky to hit on a posh local wedding or just inexplicably loud poolside disco.

Otherwise the once-gem is a bit like an ancient temple in the hands of barbarians. Very badly controlled, no-zoning, uncozy lighting. You have to ask for everything, from cleaning to elaborations on extras. Sickeningly monotonous breakfasts. Untrained staff, who take your coffee away and when you say so bring you a coffee for takeaway in an unsuitable cup that spills over your clothes. Air conditioning aimed straight at your writing desk. Terribly overpriced. Stingy at that, with that inane idea of glass bottles (filled with tap water?) instead of plastic. Scarce tea sugar and the like (at the rate!). And most of all, you absolutely must check all bills and payments as they are set on milking out surcharge over surcharge. Mind - just while you’re talking them out of it, some Aziza And Co. will professionally dress you up with, say, three extra one-person stays over instead of two that she herself confirmed earlier. I do believe Accor must be ashamed of this.

The hotel has 3 blocks… the one I was this time was block C and the rooms are not very pleasant like the ones in block A.

Reception was worse than before

Location is perfect, right in the heart of Izmir. The rooftop restaurant/bar was spectacular. The indoor swimming pool is quite nice and open until 23:00. Outdoor swimming pool is quite nice as well but we could not use it this time due to weather conditions.

We booked 2 rooms with the kids and we were checked in to adjacent rooms which was nice. However one of the rooms was a connecting room with a door in between another room which got occupied by other people on the 2nd night of our stay. To be clear, altough we had 2 rooms, only one of our rooms was in the connecting room. And if you know what I mean, these types of rooms are the ones where a person from the other side of the door would sneeze and you could say "bless you" 🙂. I think neither was that a mistake we would expect from reception staff of a premium hotel nor was our expectation of comfort for a stay here. Another thing is, charging used espresso capsules in the room as extra? Come on!

I’ve been to many countries and spent lots off nights at different hotels, so far the only one exceeding their services and customer satisfaction beyond my stay was swissotel izmir big probs to the team (forgot smth at checkout they made sure to reach out and correct it) Definetaly worth a visit!! Breakfast buffet was amazing, great variety and quality. Rooms and beds were very comfotable, staff were helpful and friendly.

They charged for the Nespresso capsules for in-room coffee, and the prices at the in house Italian resteraunt are very expensive.

Completely ridiculous that the hotel charges a deposit of € 450 or TL 8.000 from your creditcard in case you damage the room or steal from the minibar. You dont treat 5-star clients that way with twice exchange costs from € to TL and then from TL to €.

Exceptional

Spacious room with balcony looking onto a beautiful tree. Location was perfect 4 mins to the sea promenade Kordon and lovely fish restaurants and about 15-20min walk to the old market and Agora. The large clean swimming pool and bar was a lifesaver in the middle of the 35c degree days. All staff were exceptional and the art work added interest.

Expect way less, not a 5 star hotel experience you hope

Location is great. Food is superb (if they deliver), they forget to bring mine for 2 hours...

Room service did not come for 2 hours (had to cancel). They tried to spray my room for insects while i was in the room, they simply opened the room and 2 man entered the room very nonchalantly. While asking visible upset about the situation i was told i should have put the "do not disturb" sign if i want not to be disturbed. I have asthma by the way and i don't know what would happen to me if i wasn't in the room to stop that. The line for reception was very long had to wait 10-15 minutes for check out. This is advertised as a room with balcony but it was a french balcony after all, where you can barely stand. They definitely should clarify the balcony situation. How is this a 5star experience and Swiss hotel level of quality is beyond me. What a waste of my time...

I wouldn't go back to this hotel it wasn't worth what we paid for it

Breakfast was a good variety but they were very short staffed so the service was very slow. We waited for a cup of tea for over 15 minutes.

The cleaners didn't clean the rooms on time or replace Amy of the water tea bags or milk powder at times. So I wouldn't say this was a 5 star hotel i would rate it as 3 star. We raised a complaint with the Conser there and she was extremely rude and wasn't helpful at all.
