This is the perfect apartment for 2 couples who want to visit Venice and the area.The train to Venice takes 10 minutes and is only a 5 to 6 minute walk from the apartment. Restaurants and grocery stores are close buy.

The home was nice inside but the neighborhood was a bit shady and didn’t give you a safe feeling. there were several groups of men drinking and smoking just down from the home late at night. Also, loud music until late at night and fireworks in September so not sure what that was about. Close to the train so it only took a few minutes to get to Venice.

Property is exactly as advertised, this was our 3rd attempt to stay here (2 cancelled due to Covid). Julia was very helpful, we ate at her restaurant all three nights we were there because the food was so good. 5 min walk to bus, about 15 min into Venice. taxi was 40 Euros from Airport. Would definitely stay again!

My son and I stayed in this apartment on our Italy holiday. This apartment is just beautiful and I would highly recommend. Very lovely neighborhood and conveniently located close to transportation and walking distance to great restaurants.

Nice apartment close to the bus transportation. Very clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or have a quick cup of tea or coffee before heading out. Very comfortable apartment.

Great location, great price.

We stayed here for three nights with another couple. The property was perfect for two couples and a wonderful neighborhood location. It was clean, cute, well appointed with amenities including coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and a bottle of Prosecco. The walk from the train station and the bus to Venice were as described, and you were in Venice in about 30 min from leaving the apartment. If you can check out the bus stop right away the scheduled times for bus line 6 and 6L to Venice will help minimize wait time. To minimize wasted travel time back and forth we stayed in Venice our two full days. Wished we had stayed a night or two longer to see more and enjoy relaxing at the apartment more. The place has a great screened porch and barbecue that we hoped to use but never got out of Venice in time! Hoping for another time. We ate lunch at a local cafe, Ristorante Bar Piccolo, just up the street 100 ft toward Venice. All our dishes were great, and wonderful prices. Also please check out Julia’s restaurant, iL Giardinetto, a short walk in the other direction. Both great spots. Wonderful pizza crust, again a great meal. Just two doors down was Mabo, which was no where near as good. We stayed three nights and wished longer. You can’t lose staying here and will have extra money to spend in Venice!

We spent 2 nights at the apartment and felt like at home. Apartment was clean, everything was perfectly organized and communication was extraordinary good. Bus stop, good restaurants, pastry/bakery, super marked are in close walking distances. I can only recommend this apartment and will definitely look for availability when I visit Venice again.

The property was clean, private and secure, they are other villa's within this property we hardly heard anyone else on the property, The Italian Restaurant across the street was fabulous. We ate their most of our time in Venice, The only issue we had is that damage deposit was required and was delayed in return, but was returned in full, most properties that we have inquired through HomeAway didn't have a requirement for a damage deposit. But other than that the Host assistant Julia was kind and helpful.

This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is large and offers everything you need. The owner was polite and spoke excellent english. The house itself is located just a five minute walk from the train station Venezia Mestre and just a few yards from the bus stop that takes you onto the island of Venice. The house is located in a residential area with a bakery and restaurants all in close proximity. The owner offers use of the pavillion in the backyard as well as the apartment itself.

Our villa was clean, quiet, and conveniently located near the Maestra train station with just 3 bus stops to Venice. We could walk to the local grocery store and there were several nice restaurants nearby, including one across the street that we frequented. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen and dining area was furnished with everything we would need to make our stay wonderful. We had a great time!

This property provides great comfort and location for visiting Venice. It is quite modern, clean, and spacious; we felt as if we were at home. The neighborhood it is located in is safe and quiet. The stop to the bus is only a couple of blocks away, and about the same for the train station, both reachable within just 5-10 minutes walking, and from there to reach the main tourist areas in Venice is only about 20-25 minutes. The host's representative, Giulia, was very friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain everything about the property when we arrived and on the morning when we checked out. Would definitely stay here again our next time in Venice and highly recommend it.

Erika's apartment was fully furnished and everything was working perfectly. The location is great, 2mins from the buses and 5m from Mestre train station. Heating, internet, appliances, coffee machine.. all of great quality and excelent condition. The beds in both bedrooms were very confortable and there is a nice backyard with a trampoline that our kid enjoyed throughout the whole stay (even in the foggy cold nights). On arrival, we were welcomed by Erika's friend, Julia and she was waiting with some complementary juice and Prosecco. =) All in all I think it's not possible to get better value for your money in Venice. I strongly recommend this property! Cheers

My experience tuned out exactly as what I found in the reviews and better. We had 2 cars with us, and found the location very convenient for us to drive to and park. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, apparently mostly for local residents. The property is fenced in. We could park one of our cars inside, and the other outside along the street. It's only 5 minutes to the train station. With a pass ($30 for 48 hours) for the water taxi inside Venezia, you can take either the trolley (3 minutes away) or the bus at the train station. The backyard is like what you might find in the US, with a stone fireplace (we didn't use) and a playground. Overall, this is cleanest and best equipped place that we had stayed at. Everything is in good and running condition. Our hostess gave us great advice that turned out to be very useful, such as transportation and local restaurants. We ended up having the first dinner at the pizzeria that she waited, and met her right there. It serves delicious pizza as she recommended. The only thing that you need to know is not run the oven, the washer simultaneously, which would overload the circuit. When it happened to us, Erika was able to send a friend and get it taken care of within an hour (Need to walk outside of the fence to reset the main breaker).

Our entire experience staying at Erika's place was fabulous. She was very attentive and quick responding to emails. She was very flexible with our arrival time (which changed), and we got a very warm welcome. The apartment is in a great location and minutes from the bus to Venice, it was clean, the beds very comfortable, easy to use espresso maker in the kitchen, and she gave us great recommendations for dinner. She had detailed information for everything we needed to know about visiting the area. We would stay here again especially when visiting Venice by car.

Very quiet retreat

Very quiet retreat

My family and I stayed in Erika's beautiful condo for an extended weekend and truly enjoyed ourselves. Even though Erika herself was unable to greet us upon arrival, she had her friend meet us and show us around. Later that day, Erika's husband also stopped by to see how we were doing and to offer if we needed anything. The listing does not do the condo justice. It is a beautiful condo with the perfect sized rooms for a family of 4. During our short stay, there was an issue with the master bathroom's shower not draining. I emailed Erika, who was gone for the weekend, to let her know and she sent her friend to correct the problem the very next day. She even said she would cancel her weekend plans and come back if the problem could not be corrected immediately! Luckily, the shower was up and working by the time we returned from our day out in Venice. Erika's condo is FULLY stocked with everything I could ever need in a kitchen. We were located just a 2-minute walk from the bus which took us into Venice and across the street from a delicious restaurant. Parking within the condo walls was included so we never had to worry about our vehicle. I only have two complaints about the apartment. The first is the mosquito problem. Granted we went when the heat was quite high, but even though we never had the windows open while we were there, my husband and I were woken up every night to mosquitoes buzzing by us and biting us. Unfortunately, all four of us were bitten while there, and only during the night while we slept. My second problem, and this is personal, is the air conditioning. Even though the condo has an AC unit, it is only one and not strong enough to cool the bedrooms. We left it running hoping it would cool the rooms and get rid of the mosquitoes but it only cooled the kitchen/sitting area. The bedrooms were warm. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay at Erika's and will definitely stay there the next time we plan on going to Venice. We'll probably aim at going during the winter months instead of the summer ones.

Für unseren Kurzurlaub nach Venedig hatten wir diese Wohnung gebucht. Sie liegt hervoragend, Venedig ist einfach per Bus zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt einige Pizzerien in der Umgebung. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.
