Great secluded hideaway but not too far! Super clean and great ambiance. The lights on the loft railing provide just the right lighting. Owner is super responsive. Cell coverage for t mobile was good. Hot tub was clean and great for a late night dip with privacy curtains. Although we were joined by a couple of deer one night.We would stay here again.

Unbelievable weekend stay. Between the scenery, the hot tub, and fires we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience. My wife and I will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!! A local cat popped by for a visit and was very friendly. We named him Toby for the weekend.

We had an amazing stay, everything exceeded our expectations! This is where I proposed to my fiancé and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. The property was spotless and throughly clean, the hot tub has a canopy and privacy covers which is an amazing touch so we didn’t get sunburned. It was nice and quiet with beautiful lighting and a warm sense of comfort. The property manager was kind and available to answer any questions we had and left a little note for us when we arrived. We will definitely be booking a stay here again. It was a 10/10 experience!

This place is a serious little gem. Beautiful, well- maintained property with all of the amenities we needed for a couple of days. Far enough from civilization that you feel isolated in the best way, but not so far that you can't make a quick run to town. Only issue we had was absolutely no cell signal (Mint/T-Mobile). That's not a slight on the property or owners at all, just a heads up for anyone who might worry about that sort of thing.We'll definitely remember this place for the future!

This is a well-built, new, very clean cabin with front and back porches, hot tub, firepit, gas grill, charcoal grill, full kitchen, excellent queen bed in a loft. Bright stars at night. 42 species of birds observed on the wooded property in late April, including red-headed woodpeckers and flickers building nests right next to the driveway. The adjacent farmland and woods and its location on an unpaved road make it quiet at night. Within half hour drive of Edge of Appalachia Nature Conservancy Preserves. At this time of year the woods are full of wildflowers and songbirds. A delightful "home base" for 4 day vacation in Spring.

Ill try to keep it short and sweet. The host was communicative and a very cool. The cabin was super peaceful, quiet, and calm, with an amazing backyard fire pit view. It felt very secluded, yet the nearest Walmart was only 20 minutes away. I understand why people rate it 10 out of 10.

This property exceeded our expectations for sure. While it is a cabin, it has everything up to date and with quality amenities. We couldn't have been happier and got to spend some relaxing time around the fire pit. Frank is an awesome host.

After seeing the photos and reading the description, my wife and I decided to stay at the Fox Den for our anniversary. We arrived and not only did the beautiful cabin in the woods live up to the description, it is even more beautiful inside than the photos are able to show. Such amazing craftsmanship and care has been put into this place that it honestly is amazing that the owner lets anyone stay here. We have been disanointed with VRBO rentals in the past, but this cabin was pure perfection. Speaking of the owner, Frank was absolutely amazing every step of the way. We did not have any issues while we were there, but asking for local recommendations and a few other communications prior to our trip he was very quick to respond and help out in any way that he could. Our nights were spent sitting out back at the fire pit (fire wood provided!), sipping a glass of wine, and relaxing with not another person in sight. I honestly can't say enough about the Fox Den, or the owner, but I believe that my wife and I may have just found our yearly anniversary retreat. Thanks, Frank!

We booked the cabin for an anniversary weekend to basically do nothing. It was a great time of lounging. Very clean and organized. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. One note… there is not internet/ WiFi. That’s just the way it is in the area, but I did bring my Apple TV and just ran it off my phone.

The stay was good, they allowed us to bring our service dog! They gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, but we don't drink wine so we left it. Would've loved to have a washer/dryer on site, we stayed for 6 days and had to go to do laundry on day 4.

This cabin is what you picture when you want a perfect cabin experience! It's rustic on the outside, and beautifully decorated and cozy on the inside. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals, Keurig coffee and creamers provided for our morning coffee on the porch swing, and a great bonfire pit with fire starters, matches, and wood provided. The host thought of everything that would make our stay easy and comfortable! We never had any need to call Frank, but we knew if we had any questions, he'd always be available. We appreciated the bottle of wine and "Thank you" card that awaited us upon arrival. The cabin was extremely clean, and the autumn decor made it even more cozy. It was a wonderful getaway for my husband and I to reconnect with some quiet time away from home. Btw, the shower is amazing! You have to see it to believe it! We'd love to stay here again if we get the chance!

There is absolutely no fault that can be found with this perfect cabin! This is by far my favorite place i have stayed with VRBO. I especially loved the fall decor that made it all more personal. I booked this cabin for a little getaway for my mom and myself. We stayed up late talking by the fireplace, walked around the property at sunset, enjoyed the sunrise on the front porch, took a trip to Miller's, and enjoyed a fire at the firepit. The cabin is spotless and had everything we needed.

Loved this beautiful rustic cabin, decorated for fall & very well stocked with everything we needed for our 3-night stay. It is located in a very quiet rural area that lets you experience the peacefulness of the surrounding woods. We only left to venture out to the Serpent Mounds. If you are trying to decide between staying at this location or another cozy cabin CHOOSE THIS ONE! This property went above and beyond our expectations. Everything in the cabin is so cozy and such great quality. You can tell that Frank and Leah have really thought about the little details with their property from cozy throw blankets, to plenty of kitchen essentials (they’ve got a keurig y’all!), a beautiful bathroom with a rain shower head, an amazing fire pit with PLENTY of firewood, and even a complimentary bottle of wine from a local winery. Even though we had a rainy day while we were here we still enjoyed rocking on the porch and drinking our morning coffee. We cannot wait to make this a yearly trip, for us just to get away to a little peace and quiet. This cabin truly felt like a home away from home and I miss it already! One thing I will bring next year is plenty of dvds! They were kind enough to include a great selection since Wi-Fi does not reach this far out in Adams county yet and it worked out perfect for us. I have a Verizon cell plan and had two/ three bars our whole trip as well (in case anyone looking was wondering 👍)
