Absolutely fantastic

The apartment is fantastic: very spacious, fully renovated, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you might need — from a comfortable bed and sofa to a fridge and air conditioning. What truly makes the stay exceptional, however, are the hosts, Rik and Sabine. They were incredibly kind and reliable: they replied to my messages instantly, welcomed me even before the official check-in time, and had prepared complimentary coffee, tea, and local beer to make me feel at home. When I mentioned I needed to get to a wedding and hadn’t booked a taxi, they immediately offered to drive me there — quite literally saving my day. For all these reasons, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Poperinge or the surrounding area.

A very open plan property

The location is great for the ferry ports and also going into Poperinge for a meal. We also visted nearby commonwealth cemetry whilst here. The owner is very pleasant, with good spoken English. The room is huge, very well appointed, clean and quiet. There are no cooking or washing-up facilities but you leave you used cups for the owner to wash.. thank you. Also, the beer was good according to my husband. There is off road parking on the owners driveway which is located on a quiet residential street.

The open plan bathroom with the loo in sight of the bed. We have been together 30 years but some things are best done behind closed doors. OK for 1 night.

Spacious and clean apartment in walking and cycling distance of Poperinge centre.

A spacious, open plan, clean and independent living area that was quiet, air conditioned and close to the town centre of Poperinge. The host Sabine was very friendly and we had a nice welcome and chat at breakfast. Great television, internet connection and breakfast. There was a separate locked cage for bikes which is normally very useful for us. I hope to visit Poperinge again and would not hesitate to choose this apartment again.

Everything was good for us - there is an external staircase to the apartment which was mentioned and was absolutely fine for us.

apartment was superb, well fitted out and in a quiet residential area but in easy walking distance of the main square. The host , Sabina was very friendly and informative re the restaurants in the town.

The external steps would be a problem for less able people. But thats an observation , not a criticism.

Beautifully decorated apartment with lots of space. Sabine is an excellent host and very pleasant to talk with. Optimally located to visit the close by brewery or Poperinge center yet in a very quiet road.

Nice warm welcome and a was given a rundown of the B&B, room was bigger than expected and was a nice relaxing space after a days sightseeing or shopping. Convenient location and a short drive to the centre of Poperinge which was a lovely little town. The shops still close for lunch most days and we found a lovely cafe for food and drinks. Lidl not to far away as well. Was disappointed Talbot House was closed. Would have no hesitation in staying again!

Fantastische B & B!

Supervriendelijke gastvrouw! Mooie, grote loft die heel leuk was ingericht. Als verwelkoming stonden er 2 flesjes St. Bernardus klaar. 'S morgens genoten van een lekker ontbijt dat aan de deur werd gebracht: verse pistolets, croissants, brood, divers beleg, een eitje, yoghurt en een vers fruitslaatje.Gastvrijheid ten top!

Heerlijk en spontaan ontvangst, de eigenaars waren spontaan in de weer om ons te helpen op gelijk welke manier. Heerlijk en voldoende ontbijt met alles erop en eraan.

Prachtige accommodatie! Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Aardige ontvangst en goede uitleg over onze gehele zolderverdieping! Airco aanwezig. Fijn! Wat een mooie ruimte! Jammer eigenlijk dat je daar zo kort bent (slapen en ontbijten) want het is heel sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien! We kregen zelfs een pintje van het huis! 🍻

Toevallig die nacht werd er graan geoogst in de buurt en reden er een paar grote tractoren af en aan waardoor we paar keer wakker werden. Das gewoon pech. Anders stille omgeving savonds.

Gezellige B&B met hartelijke ontvangst en heerlijk ontbijt

Dit is echt een topadres! De kamer is een mooie loft, heel ruim en proper. De dame die de B&B uitbaat is super vriendelijk en doet dit met veel passie. ’s Morgens kregen we een heel lekker en verzorgd ontbijt. Ze gaf ons ook leuke tips om Poperinge en de streek te verkennen. Echt een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een gezellige en warme plek om te overnachten.

Super enthousiast ontvangen, prachtige loft. Lekker schoon en fris. Biertje van het het huis erbij. Lekker bed, goeie douche. Ik was met een kameraad op fietstocht door NL en België en dit was de beste tussenstop. Na een goede nacht en topontbijt konden we weer fris verder! Deze b&b zal ik iedereen aanraden 👍👍👍👍👍

Heel aangenaam comfortabel verblijf met veel ruimte en enthousiaste discrete gastvrouw.

Zeer aanganaam ontvangst. Parkeren voor de deur. Heel ruime mooie nette kamer. Keukendeel top. Woonkamerdeel top. Slaapgedeelte top (prima bed). Badkamer top (regendouche super). Met mijn partner geen last gehad van open toiletruimte. Als grote persoon inderdaad wat opletten voor schuine kanten en lage balken. Toch wel eens gestoten ondanks oplettendheid. Verduistering prima. Geen geluidshinder ondervonden mocht die er al zijn in deze omgeving. Goede ligging om omgeving te ontdekken. Grote ruimte goed warm te krijgen met verwarming via airco. Koelkast beschikbaar. Bestek voldoende aanwezig. Kwamen laat toe en hadden daarom zelf wat aperitief en 'koude maaltijd' voorzien. Gastvrouw vroeg zelf of ze nog iets moest opwarmen voor ons. Uitgebreid lekker ontbijt genuttigd in de kamer. Aangenaam verblijf gehad. Dankjewel aan de eigenaars!

NIKS. Als we persoonlijke tip naar gastvrouw zouden mogen geven (of is het muggenziften :-) ) : - Bijzettafeltje in woonkamerdeel voorzien om aperitief en borrelnootjes te kunnen plaatsen 's avonds bij bv. tv kijken. - Ontbijt beschikbaar stellen zonder te moeten aankloppen/binnen lopen. Stel dat je als gast toch voorbij het afgesproken ontbijtuur slaapt? - 45' was toch wat nipt om rustig van het lekkere ontbijt te kunnen genieten.
