Secluded, peaceful B&B with a great host

The breakfast, though vegetarian, was fantastic. An array of cheeses, pastry and bread. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English (compared to my broken Dutch), and did everything in their power to make our stay excellent. Even giving a map with all the local high lights of the area, including 2 local breweries, what to do in Ypres, and places to eat for dinner

Only 1 pillow on the bed, but I could have asked for more but didn't, so that's on me.

Exceptional

The welcome and warmth from our hosts was above and beyond what we expected. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is catered to a high standard with a personal touch. The location was perfectly quiet in a tranquil setting and a beautiful garden to relax in. The kitchen and communal area is for all guests to use as you please, and it is a perfect environment for interesting conversations.

Beautiful Belgian B&B. A real bed and breakfast by real people.

This place was fantastic. It was a one-night stay for us on our way back to Germany but also a staging point for our appointment to pick up beer from Sint Sixtus Monastery the next morning. The room was nice and beds comfortable. The location was in the Belgian countryside not very far from Ypres and Westvleteren. Breakfast was made by Ria, host of this B&B. She is very accommodating and, if you give her advanced notice, she can work around dietary restrictions like gluten allergies. I wish we had stayed longer.

Belguim hospitality at its very best

Ria and Luc are the most welcoming of hosts, their house is immaculately clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a triumph on of culinary delights with a wide range of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads and fresh Pancakes. We have visited Ria and Luc before and look forward to our next opportunity to enjoy their hospitality.

Perfect place to get away and still be close to everything

The house was perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle. The room was nicely decorated and very large. Breakfast was wonderful every morning with something new daily. The hostess was very friendly and helpful

Beautiful place, perfect accomodation.

The place is in the heart of the flanders countryside, a very calm and peaceful place. The owners were extremely gentle and always at our disposal for every need. The breakfast is simply marvelous, with a wide variety of sweet and salty food (jams, fruit, cheeses, ham, bakery products, etc.). This was probably the best accomodation we have ever been to.

Voor ons was het verblijf heel aangenaam, en de rust is daar heel aanwezig.

Het ontbijt was vegetarisch, voor vleesliefhebbers misschien wat minder. Anders was er wel genoeg keuze. En alles netjes gepresenteerd. Een zeer huiselijke sfeer. De gastvrouw doet dit met hart en ziel, dat voel je aan alles.

Geen muziekje aan de ontbijttafel. Vers fruitsap was ook lekkerder geweest.

Excelente recepção e acolhimento.

Fomos muito bem recepcionados pela anfitriã Ria! Ela é super preocupada em fazer sentirmo-nos em casa. O Café da manhã é preparado por ela com todo carinho. Quarto super confortável e banheiro excelente. Ainda pudemos trocar experiências com hóspedes de outros países no ambiente compartilhado (sala de estar/cozinha). Uma das melhores estadias que tivemos na Bélgica, sem dúvidas!! :)

3 Prachtige dagen gehad met dank aan de gastvrouw die ons enkele heel mooie tips gaf.

Hartelijke ontvangst met een drankje en heel wat info over wat er allemaal te beleven was in de regio. Super mooi geserveerd ontbijt met een bloemetje erbij. Gewoon alles op en aan, wij waren alvast heel tevreden.

We hadden een mooie, grote, nette kamer. De gastvrouw was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was geweldig! De regio is heel goed gelegen voor wandelaars en fietsers. Ook als je even tot rust wil komen kan je geniet van een prachtige tuin.

Een vakantie met leuke babbels in een prachtige omgeving.

Het ontbijt werd mooi geserveerd met bloemetjes uit de tuin. Kaasschotel met fruit en eigengemaakte confituur hoorden er dagelijks bij. Zin in een eitje of yoghurt. Het werd dagelijks gevraagd. Het was elke morgen een gezellig moment met de medegasten en gastvrouw rond de tafel.

Super vriendelijk en aangenaam onthaal én 3 daags verblijf bij Ria en Luc. Magnifieke omgeving en magnifieke b&b Uitstekend ontbijt met al wat je wenst (de eitjes worden zelfs versierd met bloemetjes) ook op de ontbijttafel elke dag verse bloemetjes. Ria verzorgt alles tot in de puntjes. Koffie en thee /water aanwezig en wordt aangevuld Heel mooie bloementuin waar je tot rust komt. Mooie en rustige kamer/ heel proper ! Doe zo verder 😍Het is op jullie lijf geschreven 👍🏻😍

Hartelijk ontvangst met een gastvrouw en haar wederhelft die ons even een hemels gevoel gaven.

Voortreffelijk met liefde van gastvrouw Ria gepresenteerd. De locatie was top, daar heb je totale rust en gaat Zen naar je thuishaven. Wij gaan er volgend jaar terug.
