It has everything you need for a short stay. The location is great, with shops nearby and about a 30-minute walk to the beach and Tynemouth town centre.
Clearer parking instructions would be helpful. The road was closed due to roadworks, and we weren’t sure where to park. We also couldn’t find the parking permit in the apartment as mentioned, but the host resolved the issue quickly once we called her.
The wooden rack under the mattress was broken at the edge, which caused the mattress to slope and made it uncomfortable for my husband to sleep. Some utilities also need replacing, such as the non-stick pan and the toilet brush. I also kept finding long hairs on the bed and bathroom floor (both my husband and myself have short hairs).
