Appartement Familial - Avec Parking Privé Gratuit

Located only 1.5 km east walk from the grand square the location was good, the private parking area was very nice too. Proximity to grocery shopping was very handy also. The unit was a good size and laid out well for 2-4 people.

The road it’s located on is quite busy, and very loud at times…like when France wins a FIFA game! Our stay was for 2 nights during the worst heat wave in the history of France and while it’s understandable that the unit doesn’t have air-conditioning, we were disappointed to learn that the shutters on one of the bedroom windows wasn’t functioning and we couldn’t open the window in the evening to allow cool air in. Our host was somewhat dismissive suggesting that we just didn’t know how to operate it. He said he would come by to look at it and apparently did, but only gave me an update during check out confirming the shutter was in fact broken and required a part to be ordered.

Perfect location nice to have secure parking. Good information to gain access.

Very spacious and clean accommodation. Private parking was excellent. - invisible from the road and behind a locked gate. There is an Aldi store just across the road where we bought a microwaveable evening meal and breakfast.

Access to the lock box was tricky, the numbers were hard to turn accurately and the buttons each side needed to be pressed simultaneously. Front door to the building was difficult to operate as the handle needed to be forced right up to vertical before the key would turn. Both these facts could have been incorporated into the email from the owner. No tea towel nor dishwasher tablets provided for washing up.

It would be helpful to have instructions on opening the doors as well as using the hob. We don’t have doors like these so it took us a long time to open the doors. The oven was filthy with burnt food on the bottom and the inside of the kettle and pots were terrible.
