Great big, quirky apartment in a brilliant location. Very responsive and friendly host.

The apartment was very spacious and in an excellent location. You can reach Ponte Vecchio in about one minute and the Uffizi in just two minutes. Inside, it feels almost like a museum, filled with unusual objects collected from what seems to be all over the world. It has a large, spacious living room with very high ceilings. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in the living room struggles to cool such a large space. There is a dining area with a table for six people and a very small kitchen equipped with a washing machine, an iron, and a hairdryer. On the ground floor, there is a functional bathroom with a bathtub, although the bidet was not working. Above the kitchen, accessible by a staircase without a door separating the spaces, there is a mezzanine-style sleeping area. It has a bed, a very small wardrobe, and a second bathroom. This bathroom does not have a shower enclosure—the shower drains directly onto the floor next to the sink—but the toilet is fully functional. The beds were very comfortable.

The downsides are: - the bed in the living room, intended for the fifth guest. It does not unfold into a larger bed, so it is quite small, although still comfortable. -The apartment is located on the second floor of an old building without an elevator. This was not a problem for us, but it is something that should be mentioned. -Also, the fact that the second bedroom is not actually a bedroom, but rather a kind of balcony/mezzanine above the kitchen, was not mentioned anywhere. It is true that it has its own air conditioning, just like the bedroom with a door, which also has air conditioning, but in practice everything that happens in that sleeping area and in the living room can be heard, as there is no actual separation between the two spaces.

L'emplacement est formidable. Il fait bon grâce aux murs épais et il y a l'air co s'il faut. Les lits sont biens.

La décoration est particulière et donne un sentiment de saleté. Ces souvenirs du monde sont cocasses mais démodés. Par ailleurs, cela accumule la poussière. Le logement serait beaucoup mieux s'il était modernisé un peu. La cuisine mériterait aussi d'être modernisée.

You can not be more central in Florence than this. Amazing location.

The decoration and style of the apartment is something else… I can’t say we weren’t warned, because it’s not hidden in the pictures, but it was more eerie in reality than I expected. In addition the flat is really dark and gloomy. We stayed outside for most of our stay, as it was too much for some in our party.
