Sea side flat 3 with fast WiFi and free PARKING

Nice location right on the North Bay cliffs from one side. A short walk into town. Plenty of places to buy food and nice places to eat out. Easy walk to beach. Quite a nice area of town, a bit run down, but not rough. The rooms where clean and servicable, about what you would expect for the money. The kitchen was good and you could cook and heat up food to save you going out all the time. Tea and coffee left for your use and enough equipment to use for any meal. Microwave and full oven and hob. The bed was soft and very comfortable. Heating there if you needed and you can keep really nice and warm in winter. Liked it for all the reasons of wanting a cheap SC apartment near the beach.

The place is advertised with FAST WIFI and FREE PARKING. The WIFI was good, however, it did go down overnight on the first night. It happens! - I reported this at 8am the second day and it was not fixed until 1pm after I chased a few times. Not a massive problem, but did show not too much customer care for a selling point in the name of the flat. The FREE PARKING - The host leaves ONE visitor parking permit. I was there for 3 days, so I scratched off three nights on the days. Turns out this is incorrect and I received a parking ticket for £50. Reading the small print, it was clear that you should only use for one day. This is the not the hosts fault , however, they could have made it clear that you need to use a new permit for each day and either leave out 3 or tell you where to get another 2. The name of the flat is not FREE PARKING FOR THE FIRST NIGHT! - a shame, but all it takes is a nice little notice in the flat to say that.

The location, but the property has no see view whatsoever.

Very noisy, very old building, parking penalty because of wrong parking info was provided, you need a new parking ticket for each day. Which was not available most of the days. Bathroom has mould and can be smelled across the flat. Poorly furnished bed & chairs etc

I had a very negative experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. The place was extremely uncomfortable, one of the main reasons being the three separate and very unpleasant smells throughout the property. There was a strong smell of damp, an odour of dirty drains, and another persistent smell coming from the carpet, which clearly needs a thorough steam clean. I found these smells to be overpowering, making it difficult to relax or feel settled in the property. Noise was another major issue. The hotel is located on a street where there appeared to be ongoing antisocial activity the people seemed to be drug dealers/drug users, who made a lot of noise during the night. Police were also present, with sirens sounding, which created an unsettling atmosphere. This not only prevented me from relaxing but also made it very difficult to sleep. Overall, the property felt very run down and in serious need of renovation. The windows were tatty, single glazed, and the net curtains had holes in them. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the curtains in the living room did not close fully. The bedroom, bathroom and hallway were also on the small side, making the place feel a little cramped. On top of that, the location information was confusing—Google Maps took me to the wrong place. It would be very helpful if clearer information could be provided, to make the check-in process smoother. I booked this hotel for a month-long work contract, but because of the smells, the noise at night, and how uncomfortable the accommodation was, I had no choice but to leave the next day after checking in, and therefore having to find another hotel. While a partial refund was given, I still ended up paying extra for a place I could not stay in. Overall, it was a stressful, inconvenient experience that cost me additional money.

The windows were very draughty. I would not agree that the Wi-Fi is superfast. Not sure this is the right place for this but it would have been nice to have a clock in the kitchen.

loved the location of this little flat it was handy for Scarborough Castle. Peasholm Park and a walk into town. it was good for parking which was directly opposite. The flat was very comfortable & I loved the finishing touches like the towels on the bed shaped like swans & well equipped.

The only thing I didn't like was that the toaster didn't work.Apsrt from that everything was great.

The bed was comfortable.nice sitting area.plenty of kitchen utensils.very clean.

The bed where it was raised.i got out early hours for toilet.and walked round from the window in darkness and didn't realise the step and went flying.banging and bruising myself. And a family with kids on our last night.literally running up & down the stairs.no control by parents. I didnt put top marks for staff as I never saw any. The only ones I did see.i presume was the cleaner getting out of car.passenger door wide open.knowing and saw us walking out with bags.to which it was a struggle getting out.
