We loved everything about Sifis’s place! The comfort, own terrace, cleanliness, location, peace and quiet. It’s living by the beach at its finest, complete relaxation with amazing views, sounds of the sea at your fingertips and goats’ bells from the distance. Kitchen is well equipped and the view from the window looks like a postcard, there is even a washing machine and some washing detergent, bed is really comfy and bathroom has a big shower. We will definitely come back!

We would have loved to stay even longer!

The location of this apartment is honestly exceptional - you are literally ON the beach. To be able to swim in the beautiful clear, calm sea and then simply walk back up the steps to your private terrace makes for an amazing holiday experience. Whilst the apartment may appear to lack a little personality… its perfect portion and amazing terrace makes up for you. It’s brand new, very clean and safe feeling! It has all the basics you need for the ultimate relaxing summer holiday. We LOVED it. And not to mention amazing value. Finikas is a very small and quiet bay with one taverna, a breakfast spot and a cute new beach/ snack bar! So most of what you need but you’ll need to venture to other bays for more choice and amenities! Loutro is a short hike away, as is Likos bay - though the hikes are a little steep in places and very rubbly (so hiking boots or trainers highly advised) all the local tavernas and insane crystal clear waters make it worth it. This coastline honestly is a hidden gem in Greece and i could not recommend more. The communication and hosting was seamless and friendly too!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Edem House, Finikas. The apartment is simple but clean and modern, with a comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen - it had everything we needed. It is overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, with beautiful clear sea. There are sun loungers on the large balcony area or you can get a sun lounger directly on the beach. Finikas is perfect for people that like a peaceful location, it has it’s own taverna and beach snack bar, so you can spend the whole day in Finikas if you want to relax, or it’s only a 15-20 minute walk into Loutro for more Tavernas and bars. The walk is a rocky path but it is not a difficult walk - but you can also take the local ferry/water taxi there. There are a couple of shops for getting any supplies you need in Loutro. You can also go on some great hikes from here along the coast or up into the mountains. Bring walking shoes/trainers so you can make the most of it. But if you don’t want to walk - there are boats you can catch to some great beaches.

We didn’t dislike anything as we wanted a peaceful, special location but it might not be for everyone. We used Taxi Sfakia from Chania to Chora Sfakion, then Athitis Lines ferry boat from there to Finikas.
