Great location in Como old town. Quirky and interesting property on second floor. Originally home to Alessandro Volta, Como's most famous son. Very well equipped apartment, less than 100m from the local Carrefour supermarket.
Property reflects its age, when people were shorter, so comparatively low ceilings throughout. Bathroom a little awkward, but ok for a few days. Bin men start early on a Tuesday.

host's emails(communication) were very good and clear, location, room/bed clean were very good.
Clear room/ketch is guest basic duty for guest(at least no issue for me); but dump room waste (it's harder for found litter, trash, ... location in dump room) during guest final leaving time may be not reasonable. At least it's first time for me.

Fantastic location. Good cooking facilities. Helpful staff who provided warm bedding on request.
The apartment was very cluttered with decorative objects, books, family memorabilia.& photos. It felt a bit dusty & could be streamlined to create cleaner emptier surfaces for guests' belongings

Great location, close to shops, ferry, bus terminals.Transport links very good. Accommodation in lovely historic building and comfortable, quiet area. Host very helpful and easily contact able.
