very good communication with Carlotta; with her tips for the collection of the door key, our stay in her Appartement was perfect. As the flat is in the middle of Como, it is easy to go shopping and go back for a quick relax.
We arrived by car and choose one of the Autosilos nearby. We took also a train for dayshopping in Milano, it costs only 10EUR for a return ticket from the Station in Como.
Thanks for the coffee, we enjoyed to drink a Nespresso every Morning.
As the weather was a bit rainy and cold, it was very chilly in the flat, could be a bit warmer....

We loved the space. We particularly enjoyed doing a little bit of cooking for ourselves and we felt as though we understood what it might be like to live in Como, not just visit. There are many restaurants and shops within easy reach. We enjoyed walking through all the streets of the old town and to Villa olmio. Carlotta met us and showed us how to manage the security of the apartment which was new to us but made us feel very safe. I would definitely recommend this apartment as long as you enjoy walking!
It was easy to get to the apartment from the station, we just picked up a taxi from the rank. Getting back to the station from the apartment was less easy for us, as our Italian is very limited. Our departure was also quite early in the morning and we couldn't book a taxi. Fortunately it was possible for us to walk to the station to catch the shuttle bus, even with our suitcases. We should have booked the taxi return when we arrived and would do so next time.

Good central location with easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants. High ceilings so spacious feeling. Modern feeling inside and very quiet at night so nice and peaceful.
Appreciated the extra little touches - coffee pods for the espresso machine and complimentary water.
