The location of the property was a great place to explore the Lake District, and a short walk to Bowness on Windermere town and lake. The property was, quirky, comfortable, clean, and well stocked for all our needs, with little packs of essentials left in the kitchen and bathrooms to facilitate our stay.
There was nothing to dislike.

The location was excellent. The cottage was very comfortable and there was ample parking. Bed was really good. Nice quality bed linen. Loved the fire place (electric). Made the cottage feel cosy.
Basic things like facial tissues, paper towels, salt & pepper should be standard. Even though we received specific instructions for the address our GPS led us to the next lane which was for Meadowcroft Cottages. Someone else who got lost was able to redirect us. It was dark for our arrival so the lane was easy to miss. We had put the specific address in the GPS.
