Great location and charming property

The house was lovely big with plenty of choice of bedrooms, quiet spaces and I loved that it had 3 bathrooms with walk in showers. Great location within walking distance of 3 sisters and shops and cafes.

Everything was good but grab rails in one of the showers would be very helpful

Outside darden does not do the inside justice. Some upgrading of garden would improve the property presentation.

The house was easy access from train station with Coles/Woolworths within easy walking distance. Location was really good even without a car. Good size house with bedrooms and beds to fit our party of 5 women. 3 bathrooms so that was great. Nice kitchen which had all the essentials required. Keys in lock box so no problem with access.

One of the reasons for booking the house was there was a gas fire shown in the photos of the property. This did not work and Air Keeper were no help in getting this sorted for us. There are numerous notices with instructions on how to start the gas fire. None advised that it actually didn't work. For the entirety of our stay we were not able to use it. Very disappointed as going to Katoomba in winter you expect a nice warm fire. There was another small gas heater in the loungeroom area which makes me think the gas fire was not working at all. I do feel we were cheated on this. Advised Airkeeper on arrival of the gas fire not working. They called back that night but never heard another word from them for the duration of the stay. On first inspection the bathrooms looked clean, just don't look under vanities or behind doors!! There was someone else's hair behind the door of the bathroom. Yuk!! No dryer in the laundry which for a cold area such as Katoomba would have thought would have been essential. 5 bedroom house which could accommodate 10 people but lounge seating for max 5 people and not very comfortable. I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately I'm just being honest and for the amount you pay I would have expected better. Don't think I would use Booking.com again as when you book with them you provide credit card details. Then you are contacted by AirKeeper who require these details again + provide a copy of drivers licence. Did not feel good about handing this information over. Why did I need to provide credit card details again when I had already given to Booking.com
