Fabulous large home for a group. Eight beds. Well stocked kitchen. Cosy fireplace. Good parking. Lovely outlook. Helpful management. Our fourth annual visit and we will be back!

Fridge on the small size for a home of this size, but manageable.

The closeness to main town very good with GPS assistance. Parking space very good. The TV/recreation room very useable for children's toys and TV. Bedrooms very comfortable. Fireplace lovely.

A bigger fridge. The lights on the deck did not work. The bushes at the end of the driveway obscure oncoming traffic (which was quite light) but it is a hazard.

Location is good, a short drive from Katoomba so close to supermarkets and restaurants; and nearby to many walks. On a clear day the view across the valley is impressive. The communal areas of the property are spacious and there is a kitchen stocked well enough to cook for a group.

-I did not receive communication from the host regarding the lock box code, so was unable to retrieve the keys. Fortunately the door was left open so we were able to enter anyway, and the host did respond quickly and resolve the issue. -Communications about the house not being a 'party house', rules for cleaning and potential $ penalties for breaking rules were quite over the top and rather dampened the mood, and gave the impression we were not really wanted in the place. -There was an old oven left in the communal area. I guess the oven had just been replaced but quite odd to leave the old one there in the dining area. - Overall everything is quite 'tired' and could do with a refresh. The games cupboard was a messy, a lot of things (esp in the kitchen) felt 'sticky' and the clothes airer outside was filthy.
