Dinner, huge double room, nice staff

Tiny twin room, shelf at lethal height. Breakfast not on site

We were ideally located in the center of Eidfjord, and check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony was lovely.

There was no way to make a cup of coffee or tea, it was just a bed and a bathroom. Very basic but the location and charm made up for this.

Gorgeous cosy property , very close to harbour with views to water and mountains . Absolutely lovely people running the hotel and restaurant . Excellent dinner , we ate there both nights , and breakfast was organised at the Eidefjiord hotel and was also excellent , a very short ( uphill ) walk , more great views ! Room but very comfortable , felt traditional Norwegian, had everything we needed ( tho maybe addition of a mini fridge would have been perfect ) Lovely balcony looking out to the front . Thankyou for our stay , Eidefjiord is a lovely spot to come to and great walks nearby plus fjiord swimming !

Loved everything , only dropped to 9 on value but have learnt we need to expect fjords area hotels to be relatively expensive in high season … we booked last minute in July !

Location and magnificent views from the chalet.

Overpriced. The property feels dated and poorly maintained, and it could greatly benefit from a furniture upgrade. Worse, the Booking.com photos don't match reality.
