There aren’t many affordable options in Flam. This one is pretty good. I stayed in the red house, room 10. I enjoyed the single beds in the dorm and the curtains were good for privacy. You could tell that the set up is a bit DIY. The curtains aren’t hemmed and the stairs are a bit rickety. Not the easiest to get a suitcase up. There was mould on the ceiling in the big bathroom on the second floor and the fan didn’t seem to work, water pooled by the door on the floor. No oven in the kitchen but microwave and stovetop. I only discovered that there was one hairdryer downstairs on my last day. The walk to flam is about 20 minutes but it’s not too bad. Best to use the shuttle service with your luggage.

這次住的是紅房子的單人房，應該是所有房源最遠的一間，但公共區域寬敞且舒適乾淨，單人房空間適中，有暖氣有提供浴巾，衛浴只有提供一瓶從頭洗到腳的沐浴精。紅房子走到車站約需半小時，但也離瀑布步道入口比較近，退房採自助式，只需要將枕套被套床包和浴巾丟進戶外的鐵籃子就可以。紅房子因為是木造建築，隔音稍差，但每位房客都很自制，影響不大。在群山中聽蟲鳴鳥叫和瀑布聲睡一晚，還是很棒的體驗。

This hostel is suitable for those looking to stay in a quiet, secluded, and remote location. You must have your own vehicle as there are no shops nearby. Please note that there is no Uber in Flåm. ​We requested a pickup via their shuttle service, but the owner never responded. Our messages through the booking app, WhatsApp, and email were all ignored. The owner’s responsiveness is incredibly poor. We were forced to drag our luggage from Flåm Station to the hostel's reception, only to find it unattended when we arrived at 3:30 PM—even though the reception is supposed to be open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Furthermore, the actual hostel building is another 400–500 meters away from the reception area. ​The building is an old heritage property. There is only one shared bathroom on the ground floor for 8–9 people. You are also required to set up your own bed linens and strip them upon checkout. To make matters worse, we received absolutely no response from the owner until the very last day. I am giving a rating of 1 for such terrible service.

It does not matter the Subject. No one should Talk so rude and nasty. The staff at the location were mostly friendly but the phone calls and WhatsApp messages prior were the rudest I have ever experienced. I thought to myself why would I pay to stay somewhere someone talks to me like this?
