    It is nice that it is removed from the main Flam area where all the tourists are. The room, bathrooms and kitchen are sparkling clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    There aren’t many affordable options in Flam. This one is pretty good. I stayed in the red house, room 10. I enjoyed the single beds in the dorm and the curtains were good for privacy. You could tell that the set up is a bit DIY. The curtains aren’t hemmed and the stairs are a bit rickety. Not the easiest to get a suitcase up. There was mould on the ceiling in the big bathroom on the second floor and the fan didn’t seem to work, water pooled by the door on the floor. No oven in the kitchen but microwave and stovetop. I only discovered that there was one hairdryer downstairs on my last day. The walk to flam is about 20 minutes but it’s not too bad. Best to use the shuttle service with your luggage.

    這次住的是紅房子的單人房，應該是所有房源最遠的一間，但公共區域寬敞且舒適乾淨，單人房空間適中，有暖氣有提供浴巾，衛浴只有提供一瓶從頭洗到腳的沐浴精。紅房子走到車站約需半小時，但也離瀑布步道入口比較近，退房採自助式，只需要將枕套被套床包和浴巾丟進戶外的鐵籃子就可以。紅房子因為是木造建築，隔音稍差，但每位房客都很自制，影響不大。在群山中聽蟲鳴鳥叫和瀑布聲睡一晚，還是很棒的體驗。

    I chose to stay in Flåm because traveling from Oslo to Bergen in a single day is a very long journey, and I was interested in visiting Flåm itself. This accommodation might be a good choice if you are traveling with your own car or a rental car, especially as a family or a larger group sharing a cabin. However, for a solo traveler, I found the price of nearly *** per night far too expensive for what was offered. The accommodation was more like a dormitory, with a shared kitchen, shared bathroom, and shared toilet. My room was in the attic, and there were numerous flies inside. I informed the staff, but they did not use insect spray or take any effective action to deal with the problem. Looking back, although Flåm itself is a wonderful destination, I regret staying here. I believe it would have been a much better choice to continue to Voss and stay there instead. The overall value for money was disappointing.
