Beautiful, quiet lodge with sea views

Beautiful location with sea views (and access) in a quiet part of Killybegs. The host is very accommodating and will provide you with what you need for your stay. They can make many recommendations on what to do, what to see, and where to eat. We had a very nice time at the Puffin Lodge and will most certainly return!

The room was spacious, but with little space to lay clothing like a dresser. There are plenty of hangers for clothing in the room, but a couple of hooks in the bathroom or a shelf would have been helpful.

Puffin Lodge made my soul smile

Puffin Lodge is exceptionally beautiful. Tina is an amazing soul and so very kind and helpful. Tina's husband David and Tina make their guests feel very welcome. They keep the Lodge in pristine condition and nurture the beautiful nature around them with love and care. I had the best two days in this peaceful and calm sanctuary. It gave me the peace, quiet, and relaxation that I needed. And it's definitely a writer's paradise. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Stay. Highly Recommend!

Our stay at Puffin Lodge was absolutely exceptional. The hosts were so kind, the rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the location was outstanding. Puffin Lodge is situated steps from a private beach and around the corner from Fintra Beach and not too far from Donegal Town or attractions such as Slieve League. The optional continental-style breakfast was lovely as well! Highly reccomend Puffin Lodge, you will not regret it!

Beautifully located next to the beach (very short walk). Tina is lively and pointed us in the right direction for food (Tara restaurant). She even booked us a taxi. The whole property is lovely and the room was cozy. Great bed.

Great stay in Killybegs

It is a cosy and comfy place to stay for a night or two while visiting Killybegs. The room we stayed in was warm and clean. The owners were super friendly and accommodating and left us to our own devices, even though the accommodation is part of their home. It is an excellent value for money stay.

I think the only complaint would be that the place does not have proper soundproofing, so you can hear the door and other visitors, but it isn't the worst and expected for an affordable stay in somebody's house.

Our stay at Puffin Lodge was incredibly comfortable and proved to be excellent value for money. It was the perfect retreat to escape the winter weather. Tina went above and beyond as a host, and was always willing to offer help, recommendations, or anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect accommodation close to Killibegs.

From the time I got there I was made so welcome! The house was immaculately kept and my room was fabulous. Soft bedding, fluffy towels, tea/coffee making facilities and a view to die for! Fresh milk was brought up to my room every morning and Tina & David were so delightful, lovely and caring. Spectacular coastline and views accessible 300m from the back of the house.

Lovely Irish welcome from our host Tina, our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing, extensive continental variety including fresh berries, yogurt, cheese and ham. The dining room looked over the ocean which made for a spectacular start to our day.

The room was lovely and really clean, we had our own bathroom, the breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal - 5 minute drive from town and had a private beach right beside us. Short & Sweet

Puffin Lodge is a beautiful new house with a distinctive Red door. We got a lovely welcome and our room was spacious with a comfortable bed & a beautiful view of the sea with its own private beach. There was a detailed list of the tides as when best to visit the beach. Our host provided all information on local places to enjoy food & entertainment. Tea making facilities in our room & the ensuite had a power shower and beautiful fluffy towels. We really enjoyed our short stay .
