Can not fault the hosts. Its just the location nowhereto walk. It took 10 minutes to drive frommain road up the mountain

The location. It was up a mountain the road was as very narrow,you couldn’t go anywhere without a car. No sea view as advertised and paid for. When asked the owners about sea view they were surprised and informed us there was no sea view.

A lovely stay indeed.

I was travelling with my adult son. It was certainly a quiet location and we were glad of our car. That said, we really enjoyed the remoteness and peace and quiet. The breakfasts were superb! Muriel was a great hostess and very obliging. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Enjoyed staying here.

Breakfast was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. Very peaceful. Rossnowlough beach was only a few minutes away by car and was lovely. Hosts were very helpful.

"luxury" bedroom would benefit from a mirror in the bedroom. Booking.com described room as having sea view - it didn't have. TV was only 18". Tricky to find - no postcode from booking.com and couldn't get phone number to connect. Partly my fault, I should have made sure I knew where I was going beforehand. Was able to contact hosts using their own website and contact details and they offered to come and get us if we couldn't find it, but we did find it.

Perfect place, tuck into the quiet beauty of the Holland House while seeing all of Donegal!

The setting was idyllic, the hosts were so very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They also helped us with recommendations of local spots that were amazing. 10 out of 10! We’d recommend booking more nights here than you think, it’s so good you’re not going to want to leave. Oh, and the breakfast was so delicious too!

I would go back, wonderful and welcoming stay

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. Very quiet and easy to sleep. Fantastic breakfast! Nice location for visiting nearby Ballyshannon and also for Donegal and other nearby locations.

Room temp was a bit stuffy (no screens on windows) and we had only twin beds in our room.

Miriam was friendly, and provided a lovely breakfast. Eggs if we wanted them and great porridge on the second morning.

Comfortable beds, restaurants just minutes away, delicious breakfast offerings. John graciously made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant.

It was hard to find. Needed better signage pointing the way for the last turns. No hot water in the evenings.

Very nice hosts, offing a very good breakfast. Area is quiet farm area with sea views from hill top. Awesome area for cliff views and hiking. Highly recommended.

Our stay in Holland House was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious and John was a gracious host. We loved the location as it was off the beaten path and we had spent a week in busy big cities. It was truly lovely.

Mirjam and John provided a really nice welcome . Great showers and Mirjams breakfast was above and beyond. They were so accomdating .We had to leave due to covid after the first night and they rebooked our days in full for another time . We would definitely stay at Holland House again.

Gorgeous, quirky and clean

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and tidy. John and Miriam are lovely people who also dropped us off in Bundoran which was so nice of them. The breakfast was also beautifully cooked I could recommend Holland House enough we will definitely be back.
