Great location, on quiet street with bus stop close by. Could see ocean from house, sheep grazing. Lovely wee gift basket on arrival with a selection of local foods. House is spacious with 2 1/2 bathrooms, picnic table outside. Stornoway is a close drive about 10 minutes, we ordered groceries online before we arrived and had them delivered once we got there. Kitchen had all the appliances required to make family meals. Dining area we could sit together. 2 large living rooms. We were 3 houses away from my sister, brother in law and family who live on the Isle of Lewis. Multiple beaches, some of them we had to ourselves, white sand, turquoise water, beautiful stones and rocks.
Leaving the house and the island and returning back to Canada.

Ein toll eingerichtetes, geräumiges und komfortables Ferienhaus mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus liegt oberhalb der Küstenstrasse freistehend und ruhig. Der Weg zum Strand beträgt über die Weiden ca. 10 Minuten oder über einen Weg zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Da unsere Fährverbindung zurück kurz vor der Streichung stand, hätten wir die Unterkunft unkompliziert auch eine weitere Nacht nutzen können.
