Lovely fresh accommodation in excellent location.

Location was excellent, really handy with on street parking, but not too far from town centre. Property looks like it had recently been renovated as everything looked really fresh& clean. Living space was really comfortable. Communication with owner prior to stay was really quick & accommodating.

Superb

We spent a lovely week at Corner Cottage in April 2022. The cottage is cosy, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. Perfect location, only a few minutes drive from ferry port and airport. Great base for exploring the island. Donna was a great host. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Corner Cottage to anyone visiting the Isle of Lewis.

Excellent!

We arrived on the late ferry to the warm and welcoming Corner Cottage. There was a lovely, thoughtful welcome pack which was really appreciated, especially with the time of arrival. The Cottage had exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and is the most immaculate property (in every way) that we have stayed in at any UK location and between us, we have been in a few since the first lockdown. The beds were so comfortable and it really felt like a home from home. We will look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely cottage. Perfect for retiring to after sightseeing around Lewis and Harris

The property was ideal for our family for the few days we spent sight seeing around the island. The host left us milk, bread and eggs for our arrival as well as tea/coffee/sugar. There was plenty of clean towels, face cloths and shampoo which is always good. There was also dishwasher tablets. Bath robes were useful too. The host was good at communicating

The pillows were too hard for us and the stairs were very creaky which wasn’t great throughout the night whenever any of us got up for the toilet and there was 6 of us (not that we all get up through the night but you get the idea). The double window set up to get fresh air into the rooms wasn’t practical but these things didn’t dampen our spirits, it’s merely something to look at for other guests that may come as a family with kids.

A perfect base for a trip in Lewis

Everything was amazing! Perfect location close to Stornaway and easy access to the rest of the island. Comfy to boot, and Donna was a great host (thanks for the eggs). Would definitely recommend!

Wasn’t sure about the location. Hadn’t checked well enough, I guess, as it was on a busy main road. Would suggest a tumble dryer would be really helpful in the future.
