Daleholme

The hosts were very welcoming and did their best to make us feel at home. We had our own little sitting area in the breakfast room with comfortable armchairs so we could just relax and enjoy the view and the wildlife in the garden. Had we wanted to go back out, we were in very easy reach of Penrith. Breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed access to the fridge so that we could make our drinks cold. Everything was so well thought out.

The only thing that could have been better was having air conditioning (which is not something I would expect in a B&B, so it's not really a serious point).

I arrived at Daleholm in Penrith after a long hot drive down from the Isle of Skye. I’d booked in for one night on my way home to Shropshire. Alex greeted me at the door with all the warmth of family. My en-suite room was spotless and the included breakfast was delicious. I would welcome the opportunity to stay there again if I were travelling north or south again, I can highly recommend it

Ben and Alex were perfect hosts. Absolutely Nothing to fault, private parking, the bedroom and en-suite were well appointed. It was an added bonus to have another room to sit in overlooking the garden, spotting the local wildlife.
