Tynedale Guest House

The breakfasts were excellent and adjusted to guests preferences. The hosts were very attentive lovely people nothing was too much trouble The location was within easy walk of the town centre which had lots of individual shops with frontages which blended in well with the stone buildings. The Penrith Leisure Centre was situated at the back of the property. The railway station was a stopping point for many of the West Coast expresses as it was a good access point for the North Lakes

Only for the welfare of the fish in the tank in the hall which didn't look big enough for the size of the fish in it. Just saying!

We got upgraded to a bigger room with an en-suite which was very kind. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and want to make sure everything is perfect.

Excellent breakfast as much as you could eat. Very convienient location for town centre and close to major road system.

Maybe room a little on the small side as well as pen suite but still excellent value . Would go back there if in the area.v

The Landlady was extremely nice and helpfull. The breakfast was good with very attentive service.

Very overpriced! Rooms very tired and had run down feel, with no real storage. On suite bathroom was ridiculously cramped and sink so small and difficult to use. Bedding, curtains and especially the carpet all needed a definate upgrade. All in all not a comfortable room you could look forward to coming back to. I very rarely give bad reviews and in this case regret having to do so, when the host was so nice. However in all honesty I just cannot recommend this B&B.
