What we liked most was the view from our room over the open sea. The beautiful balcony with chairs was perfect for watching the sunset. The room could be made totally blackout (dark), the bed was comfortable and big. The climate worked great, even with the night mode setting. The bathroom was remodeled and new. The room had a refrigerator, hair dryer, drawers by the bed, TV and a large mirror. ❤️

The only downside was that they didn't collect the trash until after 3-4 days, and since you are on an island, flushing toilet paper is not allowed. They also didn't mop the floor after those 3-4 days, but that's probably to be expected considering this is a guesthouse and not a hotel.

Das lebendige Dorf Pelekas ist sehr schön am Hang gelegen, so dass man von der höheren Stockwerken einen traumhaften Meerblick hat. Die Zimmer sind funktional ausgestattet, mit je einem Balkon. Die Pension ist ein Familienbetrieb mit sehr herzlicher Gästebetreuung. Es gibt ein gutes Restaurant, das durchgehend geöffnet hat. Man kann sich flexibel versorgen und muss sich nicht unbedingt an die Speisekarte halten. Alle Wünsche werden freundlich erfüllt. Das Gästehaus befindet sich auf einem Hof mit der Behausung der Großfamilie und dem Restaurant. Es ergibt sich eine nette Atmosphäre und Ausblick auf bunte Blumentöpfe und zahlreiche Katzen.

Für Gäste, die sich gerne auf dem Balkon aufhalten und sich seltener an den Strand begeben oder ins abendliche Dorfleben stürzen, mag der Küchenabzug störend sein. Er ist nicht laut, brummt aber nach 9 Uhr morgens bis zum Ende des Restaurantbetriebs vor sich hin. Wir fanden das jetzt nicht so schlimm, denn wir sind nicht nach Pelekas gefahren, um auf dem Balkon zu hocken. Im Zimmer hört man nichts.

Spesso manca l'acqua. In una settimana abbiamo potuto fare poche volte la doccia (quasi mai calda, ma non era quello l problema principale. Era che proprio hanno grossi problemi a far arrivare l'acqua). La pulizia della stanza non era al top
