Best place to stay at in Agios Gordios

Amazing hosts, warm welcome and exceptional service. Marina Apartments was the best choice to spend our family holiday, especially because of the fantastic swimming pool and the delicious food served at the beach bar. It is an ideal place for those who like to end the day with chilling at the pool.

Very clean, comfy and amazing pool

We had an amazing stay at Marina apartments. The house is on a very steep street and probably that was the only down side for me with a chronic condition, but everything was absolutely perfect. The staff cleaned our room every day around 10-11 but they were happy to come back later if we were sleeping until late too. The pool was the best part of it. It has a bar and the guy there is very nice and does everything by himself and food is very nice too. I can't recommend enough!

Spectacular and clean!

Marina’s place was absolutely spectacular. She stayed up very late (my flight was delayed) in order to greet me upon my arrival and check in. They cleaned my apartment every single day and provided fresh towels. They provide towels both for the pool/beach and for showering. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They make you feel right at home, always with a smile on their faces and a happy demeanour. In my room, they had both an AC unit and some kind of air filter, which was very enjoyable. The pool and bar and restaurant were also very enjoyable. I would highly recommend trying the Greek omelette and the Kumquat Spritz. The property is only a 10 minute walk from the beach. And a 2 minute walk from the supermarket.

Amazing apartments great quality and freshly decorated .

The pool is amazing and big enough to do swim lengths . Swim up bar serves cool drinks and the snack bar has plenty on offer . The sunbeds are of a good quality and plenty of shade if needed . A few flights of step to get to the pool area .

comfortable stay

Clean rooms with crisp fresh sheets. The staff was extremely friendly. The apartment had all the necessary items that we needed for our 3 nights stay. The pool was beautiful with amazing views of the hill. The beach is 5-7mins downhill walk away. There was sufficient parking space available. The location of the apartment is good, lots of supermarkets in the area. We really enjoyed our stay. Mosquitoes could be easily kept out of our bedroom.

The pool was quite a large flight of stairs away from our block. The shower curtain could have been a bit longer to prevent water from going onto the bathroom floor.

Marina is a lovely gentle & friendly host who puts guests at ease immediately. There were basic supplies in the kitchen on arrival. Apartment was spotlessly clean throughout with beautiful views.

The apartment is a little dated but very quaint and everything works perfectly and the hills are steep but that's simply the terrain in the area and provides great exercise

It was a nice and relaxing stay, in my favourite village in Corfu.

The location is very good, the beach was very close, about 10 minutes walk, however it is far enough from the noisy night life of the village center, so it is also quiet enough to sleep. Very good value apartment, and had everything I needed. I had a very cute welcome snack-pack prepared at arrival, which I really appreciated after a long and tiring travel. There is also a huge and nice swimming pool to relax.

Everything was great, except the wifi, it was very weak sometimes, but it was ok, from the kitchen, and even stronger near the pool, so it was actually not that bad. I would also liked to have a small swim in the evening, but sadly, the pool always closed very early, 18:00 or so.

Nice place to stay, but with small inconveniences

It was very clean and comfortable room with pretty surroundings and views on mountains, also there was nice „welcome package” with some coffee, juice and biscuits. Really nice owner :)

The internet connection in our room didn’t exist. Wifi didn’t work at all and there was big problem with network coverage in the room - only outside the building it worked properly. Also the swimming pool had opening hours only during the day (if I remember correctly, to 6:30 pm), when you are normally at the beach. It will be nice to have it open in the evening.

Very steep hill to get there, definitely more suitable to younger holidaymakers, many stairs to get to apartment, pool bar only opened occasionally and therefore we went to the beach every day

Good

-The pool and the pool area in general is great. There's plenty of space for numerous people, the pool was "full" of mats and different fun stuff for kids and adults as well. I found it useful as I didn't want to buy such stuff for such a short stay. -The owners are nice and friendly. -The room had a separate bathroom and a small kitchen with fridge. -I was welcome with cookies, coffee, tea and water in my room. -Close to the bus stop and shops, restaurant. 5-6 min walking distance from the beach. BUT, this place is up on a steep hill, so with a lot of luggage or with disabilities this will be a real challenge. -Functioning AC!

-My biggest problem was really the wifi. In the building I stayed there wasn't even sign, and it was pretty frustrating as I planned to work there. The pool area and the other building had no problem with the wifi, so I don't get why there is such a "discrimination" depending on where you are placed. -I did not have a double bed, but 2 single beds put together. I had the room for myself, so it was ok size for me, but for a couple this would be a real problem to be honest. -The furniture is pretty old and the bed wasn't comfortable. -The intensity of the water in the bathroom was really really low and the temperature was always changing.
