Belle situation

Pas le nom de l hôtel dehors ! Grand parking plein de déchets . Jardin non désherbé . On nous donne une petite chambre lugubre , mal éclairée a l arrière avec sanitaires à partager . Finalement la deuxième est un peu mieux , mais aucune décoration , le rideau pend tristement . On accepte de manger la et nous le regretterons : nappe en plastique et la TL en grec que l on ne coupe même pas à ma demande ! De jeunes enfants jouent dans la salle. 3 tranches de poisson sans sauce avec en plus purée à l ail et 2 bières . Le tout pour 58 euros . À midi nous avions mangé un beau bar pour 15 E . Petit déjeuner succinct : café en poudre , pain et œufs durs ´, corn flakes . Vous ne vous baignerez pas , la piscine a été remplie de béton .

Η κα Μανταλένα ευγενέστατη και εξυπηρετική. Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος υπέροχη και μέχρι το σημείο που γευματίσαμε μέχρι να ετοιμαστεί το δωμάτιο όλα ήταν υπέροχα

Να σημειώσω ότι φύγαμε σε λιγότερο από 1 ώρα αφού μπήκαμε στο δωμάτιο και αυτό γιατί έπρεπε τελευταία στιγμή να βρούμε κάπου αλλού να μείνουμε. Βασικά προβλήματα: Το δωμάτιο δεν είχε ιδιωτικότητα. Μεγάλα παράθυρα χωρίς παντζούρια ή στόρια, με μία κουρτίνα χαλασμένη που δεν έφτανε να καλύψει τα παράθυρα οπότε υπήρχε οπτική πρόσβαση σε όλους τους "γείτονες" καθώς και στους πελάτες του καφέ. Ο κλιματισμένος υπολειτουργούσε (καμία ελπίδα για μήνα Αύγουστο) και το "κερασάκι" ήταν το καζανάκι που ήταν χαλασμένο και έτρεχε συνέχεια Απλά κρίμα

Magical hotel stay with phenomenal family owners.

Unique property with different type room options, fruit, trees, and flowers all around the property, incredible family to help in every way they can, terrace restaurant overlooking the fabulous Corfu sunset and sea with beach below and stairs leading down if you care to hang out at the beach.

Keep in mind that there are dorm options and they do not have sea views. They are also very reasonably priced and also a great place to stay. Just don’t expect a view!

L'extrême exiguîté de la "salle de bain toilettes" pas de volet ni rideaux pour la nuit pas de savon ni bouilloire et un accès très difficile. Des travaux en cours. Du linge de lit médiocre et un petit déjeuner sommaire Par contre la vue très belle et la chambre de belle taille. Une cuisine correcte Tarif élevé pour une prestation très moyenne

Very disappointing

Close to the beach.

It must have been a shed before. Not part of the main property. Very cramped. At least it was clean. The staff in the main building can’t help with anything. You have to speak to Madalena; and she is only there after 19h30. The photos don’t add up to where you stay. Breakfast was terrible. The eggs were clearly boiled some days ago. The yolk was grey and had some grey liquid coming off it. I couldn’t eat it.

Highly recommend

The location of the accomodation is just amazing, there is a big balcony with a view of the sea, the beach is right under the accomodation (100 m or less), the staff is always smiling, willing to help and the head lady is very friendly. They also have a very adorable daughter who always wanted to show us something and play with us. Highly recommend

I really had a hard time thinking about the negatives, but there are some small ones. While having breakfast there were always 10+ wasps surrounding us (probably less now because we killed at least 25 of them). Lastly, in my opinion, the bathroom in the room A-7 (our) was just too small. Water was always everywhere when we had a shower because the shower curtain is too short. Regardless, we had a nice stay :)

Local limpo, bonito e agradável, só precisa especificar no anúncio que o dormitório fica separado do espaço principal.

Gostei da localização por ser muito perto da praia, muito difícil de chegar porém muito bonito, áreas em comum com bastante espaço, vista bonita e um jantar muito bom para se comprar. Os funcionários são muito educados e prestativos e foram pacientes quando eu pedia pra repetir ou falar devagar o que eu não entendia, porque eu estou aprendendo inglês ainda. Gratidão

O quarto ficava muito distante dos demais espaços e também do local onde se fazia o chek-in isso não foi legal, por ser uma subida era bem cansativo ir e voltar, não que isso seja um problema mas seria legal estar especificado no anúncio para que pudéssemos estar mais preparados para tal, porque o ônibus para a 30 minutos do local então a caminhada para chegar e para partir já é bem cansativa . E a luz do banheiro não estava funcionando, precisa ser trocada.

The location is awesome. beach is just 2 min by walk and one of the calm, clean and scenic beach on Island.

Affordable family inn on Pelekas beach!

The beach was amazing! Not as busy as the other beaches in Corfu and more of a natural experience. The owner Madalena was very kind and helpful, the food on site is also quite good and affordable compared to the rest of the island.

It is a hostel experience (there are private rooms and I would stay in one if I did it again), and this one they’re are no locks for your stuff, but it seems pretty safe and the family is there all the time as it’s their house. It is far to the bus stop, the family will drive you up for 5 euros. Breakfast was free and simple, but I wouldn’t have minded a little fruit but understand it’s a budget spot.

Overall lovely

Madalena and her family and staff are all wonderful. Very attentive and hospitable. The food we had at the B&B was always good. Breakfast with bread, jam, honey, coffee, juice, cereal and hard boiled eggs is included. But one can also order things á la carte. Dinner is also á la carte and always tasted great. Parking in front of the property was also no issue

Toplocatie en eenvoudige heel betaalbare slaapplek

De plek is prachtig! Het terras uitkijkend over de zee is gewoonweg heel bijzonder. Je kan er lekker eten, en de kamer is dichtbij, geen moeilijke trappen op. Je loopt zo een weggetje af naar beneden naar het strand- met wat zond dus goed te doen zonder schoenen.

Het is een een eenvoudige accomodatie, geen airco maar een ventilator- overigens heeft dat mijn voorkeur. Er zou nog muggengaas voor het raam of aan het raam gemaakt kunnen worden. Oja sommige wegen naar het zuiden ( dus weg vanaf Madalena’s naar beneden en dan zuidwaards….dat lijkt minder geschikt voor auto’s…ik moest op een bepaald moment van google maps ergens afslaan maar dat was 20% stijging op beton en heel smal dat het echt voor scooters is en niet voor gewone auto’s.

A stunning location with amazing views and helpful staff, though the facilities are basic and the drive can be challengi

This property probably has the best view in Pelekas — absolutely stunning. The terrace is beautiful, and the multiple layers of rooftops offer perfect spots for guests to lounge and watch the sunset. It’s a peaceful, picturesque place to relax. That said, getting there is a bit tricky. The drive down (and back up) is quite difficult, especially for a new driver like me. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly helpful and gave me tips on how to handle the manual car and manage the steep hills — I actually learned a lot about hill driving during this trip. At Magdalena’s, you generally get what you pay for with revards to the room itself. The room was basic, and the shower setup wasn’t very comfortable — just a small, raised tile area (maybe a meter by a meter) with a showerhead and no curtain or separation from the rest of the bathroom. This made it a challenge to shower and wash my hair without getting water everywhere. Another small inconvenience: we didn’t receive any towels or bath mats initially and had to request them after entering the room. Our windows also didn’t fully close, which might be more of an energy efficiency concern — though the air conditioning still worked well and kept the room cool. It’s a great bonus that they have a restaurant on-site. We ate there a couple of times, and the food was good overall. I did find a hair in one of my meals, but the staff replaced it promptly without any issue, which I appreciated. Breakfast is included, which is a big plus, especially since the hotel is located in an area where it’s not easy to get to other breakfast spots. The breakfast is very simple, but still appreciated. One thing I did notice, which was a bit odd, is that whenever I asked for something — like towels or a spoon — I was asked why I needed it. For example, when I said we didn’t receive any towels in the room, the staff asked if I meant beach towels or why we needed them. I had to clarify that we didn’t get any towels at all.

Tolle Lage und tolle Ausblicke in Pelekas Beach. 30 Gehminuten abseits des Corfu-Trails. Die Budget-Zweibettzimmer waren unterschiedlich ausgestattet. Eins mit Kühlschrank, Ventilator, Fön, das andere nicht. Freundliche, geschäftstüchtige Inhaberin.

Sehr, sehr hellhörig, an Schlaf war vor Mitternacht nicht zu denken. Auf dem Flur unserer Budget-Zimmer lag auch der Schlafsaal. Geneinschaftsduschen/Toilette ebenfalls.........

La posizione, con belle terrazze dove fare colazione e eventualmente cena. Vista mare e tramonto da aree comuni. Buona colazione. Personale accogliente. Dormitorio e bagni puliti. Vengono fornite lenzuola e asciugamani.

La strada per arrivare dalla strada principale in auto e' veramente stretta e con curve, ma breve. Stanza del dormitorio piccola. Avevo per il mio letto la presa per telefono ma non la luce e l'armadietto. La cena e' stata con menu, non tutto compreso come riportato da altre recensioni.

Der Weg zum Hotel könnte besser ausgeschildert sein. Die Anlage war schwer zu finden. Für 122 € pro Nacht hätte ich ein deutlich besseres Frühstücksbuffet erwartet: es gab nur löslichen Kaffee und Beuteltee mit Weißbrot und verschiedenen Marmeladen sowie (kalten) hartgekochten Eiern . Kein Müsli, kein Obst, kein Gemüse, keine Ei-Varianten, keine Wurst, keinen Käse ... nix. Das war dünn ...

A great stay

Beautiful location, very comfortable/clean room. Madalena, Spiros, and Effy were wonderful. I was sick & they took great care of me. I was also the only guest for the entire week I was there so felt like a part of the family.

Worth Going Back

Owners are very beautiful people, location is absolutely great, not much touristic and you can enjoy relax all day long. The structure has a terrace on the sea where you can enjoy breakfast/dinner with a stunning view. The food they propose is limited but quality. My room had a wonderful view on the beach where I could enjoy sunrise and sunset.

This was a spectacular stop along the Corfu Trail for our group. Madalena worked all day to prepare our evening meal and celebration together as a group. She was the host of all hosts! We we enthralled with the experience from the time we arrived until departure... this is a don't miss along the way.

I stayed 2 night and first night was super cold in the room; - not really comfortable bad; - quite far to the public transport ( but I was ready to that); - WiFi didn't work; - not enough sockets in the room for 8 people.
