Good location on the edge of the old town. Satisfactory kitchen facilities, although the two electric hotplate appliances were a little awkward to use, compared to a standard built-in stove top. The owner and housekeeper were responsive in making up the sofa bed quickly, even though we were expecting two separate bedrooms (as advertised).

The apartment is advertised on Booking.com as two bedroom. However it is not two bedroom and travellers booking this apartment as a 2BR should be forewarned. It is one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living/kitchen area See photo. This terminology needs to be corrected on Booking.com as it is misleading. For British, American and Australian tourists two bedroom means two separate enclosed bedrooms, alongside a living area, not two rooms, which is a common European term. The apartment is located right next to the footpath and road and was very noisy. The bathroom fan runs for an extremely long time and became annoying. The fan cycle should be shortened, as the bathroom is close to the living area and kitchen and is noticeable. Lighter bedding and non-German pillows would be welcome for more comfortable sleeping.

It is in a great area of town, it is fully equipped and has the option to do laundry and park on-site. It was clean and the host responded rapidly via the booking messaging function. The main attractions are all within walking distance. For 4 of us (including 1 kid) it was set up with a double mattress in the loft and a very comfortable futon in the first level.

We liked everything. The only thing to note for families with young children (especially under 2.5 or 3)is that the kids will be attracted to the loft and the stairs. The steps are very slim…and there is no way to block access to them. Our 4 year old learned to go up and down, and younger kids can do it too, but under constant supervision.
