Loud at night (can hear people talking , car driving through all the night)

Spacious apartment, clean and good location for the train station with a supermarket at the end of the street. Well stocked kitchen, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer, pan etc.

The door code was a pain, a long number and pushing and twisting of handles we didn’t fully master, I would have preferred a key. The street was noisy, voices seemed to echo around the street all the time, car engines revving, bins emptied at 7am, police questioning someone across the street early morning,just loud, but the windows did shut out the noise when closed but it was warm so had to decide windows open for temperature or closed for noise. Hard floors added to the noise and it would have been useful to have some cleaning products to clean up after ourselves, a dustpan and brush, some surface cleaner spray perhaps.

Very close to hauptbahnhof, about 5 min walk. Old town 10 min walk. Excellent location! The appartmet was clean. Good host, when we needed something he always help us. Appreciate that.

The appartment large but not cosy. Soundproofing is really bad, somebody from appartment above switch on his alarm clock on 6am and it calls every 10min up to 7am, it sounds like somewhere in your home. Nex day the same. So we could not sleep good both nights.
