Arrived late in the evening (serious road accident near Berlin), and hadn't received the host's key code PIN details by email that day to enter the property, because I wasn't connected to the German wifi (an SMS would have been helpful). Having made a phone call at 22:40, Ed was extremely kind and came down to open up, carry our luggage up to the apartment and physically showed me where the garage was to park (50m away in another road). His assistance was greatly appreciated!
The 2 roomed apartment was spacious, the shower was great, and overall it was very comfortable. However, a friend and I were travelling together, each one sleeping in our own room. Only one of the rooms had an en-suite shower and toilet which meant that the other had to go into the other friend's bedroom in the middle of the night to use the loo. Not an ideal set-up, unless travelling with close family members.

Location very central and within easy walking distance of main sights.
Loud outside in the morning. Nothing the owner can do about this.

Very clean and tidy. Location is a very big plus. Spacious.
It felt very bare - there were no side lights (only low lights in the main bedroom), two glasses for the whole apartments, nowhere to put toiletaries in the bathroom. Very small things, but just nice comforts.
