Superb stopover for a night or two

We have stayed here previously and thoroughly enjoyed it, so nothing here was a surprise to us. This place is delightful. The decor exudes a cultured, bookish old world charm, and the hosts are obviously keen that your experience there is enhanced by a personal level of service, particularly with regard to the excellent continental breakfast. We love it!

Not much. It's a small village with only two or three restaurants and in our experience only one of those ever seems to be open on a given evening. The hosts will usually advise on booking however.

The house is situated in a stunning village close to the abbey and opposite a beautiful church. The house is furnished with wonderful antiques, interesting artworks and objets d’art. The owners were very welcoming and Phillipe spent time with us considering our navigation choices for the onward cycle tour. The house is extremely comfortable and we were given the best breakfast we have had in France so far (two weeks) ….. stewed apples with fresh mint, local yogurt, bread and amazing homemade jam (the courgette and orange was a great hit with me) ….. thank you to you both

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy and authentic setting. The rooms were excellent, and the breakfast was superb, especially enjoyed in the beautiful breakfast area. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway and exploring the region. The owner's communication was also excellent. Highly recommended!

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this lovely house and hope to return one day.

Beautiful and peaceful location, very comfortable accommodation in an 18th century Normandy house. Delicious breakfast included homemade compote and jams. There is a lovely garden where we could sit and relax and our hosts made us feel very welcome.

Everything about my stay here was exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic, the hotel/house is an interesting piece of history itself, the town is beautiful, the recommendations of sightseeing and food from the host were very helpful. The room was very comfortable, classically decorated and as clean as any place I have ever stayed.

Beautifully decorated with period pieces, the house was right in the centre. The beds were very comfortable. Filipe is a very interesting person and gave us a warm welcome. It was great talking with him about the history of the town.

Charming, friendly hosts, beautiful decor, very comfortable room and bed, we were given tea in our room when we arrived and a generous breakfast was included.

The possibility of having to share the bathroom had there been anyone else staying on the same night.

A truly sumptuous and exceptional stay

One of the most beautiful and artistically furnished homes we have ever stayed in. Everything about the home ouzes quality, charm and comfort. The really warm welcome and local attractions advice by Philippe and Eric made our holiday. The village is chocolate box pretty with an artistic appeal. The Abbey is stunning.

This bed and breakfast place is outstanding! Our hosts extended the warmest welcome to us, just passing by to visit a Normandy village we had heard was rated one of the most beautiful villages in France. Our stay in this hotel made us believe it was true. Breakfast was delicious too!

Nothing really! Everything was perfect with the hotel, but our experience with a restaurant in the village was not good! The current situation with the Covid situation seems to be the culprit.
