Galkotuwa Estate

This place was great, surrounded by greenery on top of the hill (Galkotuwa) and the owner and his wife are very friendly and kind who ensured the place was beautifully arranged and fully stocked with all the essentials for our stay. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who look for a safe comfortable place. There's also a friendly watch dog named "Saraa" make sure to pet him as well ♥️

Host molto gentile, disponibile ad ogni esigenza: ci è venuto a prendere all' arrivo in maniera completamente gratuita. Ci ha inviato un tuktuk quando abbiamo avuto bisogno e fornito un driver sicuro ed economico per accompagnarci. Nonostante non fosse compresa la colazione ce l' ha portata tutte le mattine: piatto tipico con riso e spiegazione di ciò che fosse. Sembrava di essere a casa propria con una presenza premurosa, ma mai invadente. Location immersa nella giungla, ma sicura. Bellissimo affaccio sulla valle sottostante e i monti di fronte.

Non avevamo capito che non ci fosse l' acqua calda, ma non è stato un problema.

Der Besitzer ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage war zentral aber ruhig. Den Zug konnte man oben schon hören, hat uns aber in keinsterweise gestört!

Es war sehr dreckig. Eine Ameisenstrasse an der Zimmertür. Mehrere große Ameisen und einige Spinnen im Zimmer.
