The property was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the lovely views.

There wasn’t anything major that I disliked. Some areas could use a little more maintenance, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

The owner is really nice and gave me a few tips for sightseeing. He also responded quickly to any of my requests. The place is close to the Ashram and perfect to spend the night before going there. Beautiful view from the terrace as well.

The wifi had some issues but owner fixed it quickly once i let him know.

Sunset Inn feels like my second home now. Although it’s located a little outside of Kandy, it’s absolutely worth the stay for the peaceful surroundings and fresh, unpolluted air. The calm environment makes it a perfect place to relax. They also made one of the best avocado juices I’ve ever had—it was delicious! Another great advantage is that they have an electric vehicle (EV) charging facility, which is very convenient for EV travelers. The hospitality is excellent, and I always enjoy staying here. Highly recommended!
