Good value, comfortable and clean with a very helpful host. The bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and good pressure. Beautiful views over kandy from the entrance area and the room.There was a lovely friendly dog called Flix who loved the attention. Dogs are always a bonus for us! Reasonable wifi and a TV with a decent selection of American channels which was actually quite nice.
The only thing was the location but we were aware of that when booking so it was not a surprise. It is up a gradual hill and tuktuks had to be guided ho.e sometimes. But if you don't mind walking a bit like is then there are local shops, bakeries and restaurants less than 10 minutes away, the lake around 10-15 and around 25-30 minutes into town.

Вежливый тактичный хозяин. Прекрасные виды на горы. Чистая комната, чистые постельные принадлежности. Шикарный пёс размером с медведя, ни разу не гавкал и не приставал, только ластился. Новый ремонт в санузле. Горячая вода. Хороший сигнал интернета (мобильный dialogue). Просыпались под пение птиц по утрам. Просторная общая зона с диванами, столом и библиотекой, где можно отдохнуть. Веранда со столиком под открытым небом с шикарным видом на горы
Маловато розеток. Простыня вместо одеяла (можно слегка подмёрзнуть в непогоду). Было бы здорово если был доступ к чайнику и общему холодильнику

Clean and spacious room in a quieter part of Kandy, good to sleep away from the noise, only a 30 minute walk around the lake to get into central Kandy, room was cool, bathroom was large and everything we needed was there
Slight noise through the door into the corridor but nothing really to worry about

We had a brilliant stay at Louis Lake Villa. The owner was so amazing helping us with taxis, washing and even arranging someone to pick up food and drinks for us. The hotel itself has beautiful views and I felt very at home there. And yes the dog is lovely!!
