Generally a large well-appointed unit that most people will be happy with.

No breakfast. Location was good; we liked our neighbourhood.

One of the bed mattresses was stained. The showers need to have safety bars installed. Some shelving in the bathrooms would be nice.

Lovely apartment - except for the problem

The Arnem is a nice big 2 bedroom apartment with quite large rooms. It has two big modern shower rooms (though only one toilet, separate to the shower rooms). The decor is very pleasant and stylish, and the beds and furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is a practical size and very modern. Access to this ground floor apartment from the street is excellent. It has good security. The location was ideal for us being about halfway between the historic old town centre and Gare de Rennes - easy walking distance to both.

Okay.....quite a saga (sorry). We booked through Booking.com but the apartment actually has multiple layers of management. The property is managed by CocoonR but is privately owned by another person. CocoonR also contracts out the check-in and check-out to a concierge service (still following me?). When something goes wrong - which it did - it gets really tricky to get help in such circumstances. An hour or so after we checked in we realised that the hot water heater was faulty. There was NO hot water. We reported this immediately. This might seem a small problem - but just think about it - COLD SHOWERS- FOR 2 DAYS!! We couldn't even put boiled water in the bathroom basin to wash because NONE of the plugs in the basins (or kitchen sink) actually work. We checked in on a Saturday. NO-ONE in any of the layers of management could help us get the problem fixed until Monday. The concierge service said it wasn't their responsibility. CocoonR office in Rennes was closed. CocoonR customer service in the head office (Paris??) tried to find a hot water technician in Rennes over the weekend without success. They finally got it sorted mid Monday and they advised we should request compensation. We applied for compensation, but were told this would be the decision of the owner (the owner pays compensation, not CocoonR). This process took a full 14 days and resulted in us being refunded the princely sum of 54 Euros for 2 days without hot water and several hours of our holiday wasted trying to get the problem solved. Clearly, CocoonR should have been able to access an emergency hot water service on the Saturday. Failing that, CocoonR should also pay compensation to us - in addition to the miserly amount paid by the apartment owner.

A nice apartment and good location plus reasonable price.

A comfortable apartment with good location and parking ! On the third day there were no hot water. I call property management and received different level positive response. The problem was fixed at no time and hot water available.

Couple nights was real hot but no air condition. At least fans should be available. It was not convenient that no washing machine!

J'ai apprécié ce séjour et je n'hésiterai pas à revenir dans ce logement.

L'emplacement de la location, située près de la gare, dans une rue calme mais en ville tout de même. La superficie importante de l'appartement. Le confort, la literie. L'accueil. La décoration, de bon goût. Le linge et les produits de toilette à notre disposition.

Peu de choses, des détails : il n'y avait pas d'assiettes à soupe. Les fenêtres de la cuisine et du salon sont un peu vétustes et impossibles à ouvrir.

Bellissimo soggiorno in bellissima città.

Ottima posizione, nei pressi del centro. Letti buoni, cuscini un po' meno (troppo sottili, ma abbiamo dormito bene lo stesso). La casa è accogliente, è fantastica l'opportunità di parcheggiare nel proprio box, ottima l'assistenza (avevamo bisogno di un asciugamano e hanno provveduto in breve tempo). Ottima temperatura all'interno dell'appartamento, assolutamente confortevole. Carini i bagni, entrambi con doccia.

Sarebbe stato bello dotare la macchina per caffè di alcune cialde (costo irrisorio, qualità del soggiorno certamente superiore). Un rumore nelle prime ore del mattino un po' fastidioso. Il water è piccolino, unico ed è separato dai due bagni.

Muy buena relación calidad-precio

Amplio apartamento con duchas para cada habitacion, aunque un solo WC aparte. Estaba todo muy limpio y Menad nos atendio muy bien. Todo igual que en las fotos. Y en 10 min a pie del centro!

Faltaban algunas cosas en la cocina (no funcionaba la luz, no habia bayeta, el mango de la sarten roto).
