The location is perfect and the cottage was exceptionally clean.

The overwhelming odour of fabric spray which is great for masking any doggie odours, however I would encourage your housekeeping team to try & not to use too much! Slightly heavier duvets would be welcome for winter stays I'm glad we took our own logs, only enough supplied for one small fire

Fabulous cottage. Very clean and high standard of decor. Amazing central location.

Wifi didn't reach throughout the house. Double bed was bouncy making it difficult not to wake each other.

Brilliant location, just a short walk from the beach and shops / cafes / art gallery. Clean. Relaxing, comfortable living spaces. Equipped with all you need from a family holiday cottage. Lovely seating area out front. Sea views from lots of windows.

For us, the double mattress in the main bedroom was awful - it was mentioned on a couple of older reviews, but we thought we'd give it a go. My wife and I woke up every morning with achey bodies, and I'm not sure we could return as a result unfortunately. If the owners did replace the double mattress though, we'd genuinely book this cottage above all others that we've stayed in in Staithes previously.

Location perfect, crab & lobster pub menu excellent and we enjoyed every night. The cottage is beautiful, however we are not dog lovers, who ever stayed before us, must have had a dog in the lounge, as we could smell it, Which did spoil it for us, however we masked this with joe mallone pefume. We would still book again. Very clean & warm.

The double Bed was very uncomfortable, so on the 2nd night we moved to the twin rooms, beds were really good.
