A warm, comfortable and welcoming base for a stay.

The property was warm and welcoming. Beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The area was quiet and well kept.

House in Milton Keynes

Located close to the area of town we needed to be in. Deceptive looking from the outside, the house is bigger than it appears. For a short business stay it did the job.

Not a dislike - just observations... It's an older property, a little tired and dimmer inside than the photos depict. The garden was a little sad, parking for just one car, but other spaces on the street nearby.

Tidy and great location

As someone who lived in MK before, the house was certainly a throwback in a really nice way placed in prime central position. Place was spotless and was very well kept. Apart from one room where the curtains were a little thinner so we swapped ourselves around for own personal preference as wanted a darker room in the morning, there was nothing to fault.

Good location, close to Central Milton Keynes. House is a good size

Lack of cutlery, only 3 forks initially, hunted the kitchen found one more, only 2 mugs, lots of small tea cups, very few cooking tins for the oven however very good quality oven and good fridge freezer. Place was clean on the whole but lots of cobwebs on the ceilings and a little bit of tlc needed in some places. Bedding was clean but my mattress had no protective cover and I could see the pattern of the mattress through what was a very thin sheet. Only enough seating for four people in the living room and at the table although 4 double beds so potential to sleep 8. Overall , good value for money as Place was reasonably priced and had a good enclosed garden for our family dog.

Very nice place, clean and tidy. Very close to both city and countryside.

A few small little things that would take this place up a whole notch in the ratings, if fixed: - Tap in the bathroom only dribbled out...barely enough water to brush our teeth!. We alerted Management so to get it on their to-do list. - Would be nice to have an explanation on how to use the shower water unit...it was really difficult to figure out how to get a constant warm temperature and the water volume was very low - There were many beds/bedrooms, which were very nice...but all the linens were quite small/short - eg: when 2 people were in the double-bed in the largest bedroom, the quilt/duvet on top wasn't wide enough to cover the bed/people. Needed to be the next larger size up. (and we're not big people either). - Need to have an explanation written up in their binder for how to use the oven (for those travellers not familiar with gas oven) - The kitchen needs more accoutrements...there were very few sharp knives (paring knife, steak knife) and very few glasses (only 3)...need more for those families that cook at home and don't go out to restaurants

Wonderfully stocked and comfortable even for a few months stay

Our other two places were canceled on the day or had problems so we had to look for a place past 9pm. But the owner was reachable, welcoming, and when we walked into the clean, large, warmed up house at 10pm it felt like heaven. The location is quiet and safe, beautiful woods out of back window, bright and airy place, cute and beautiful bedrooms. Everything you would want for a relaxed family stay. It was so wonderful, if we ever live in MK I’d like to live here ;p

Bedrooms and bathroom, including downstairs toilet were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and welcoming.

The kitchen was not clean and I had to go out and buy more cutlery and wine glasses so that there were enough for a family of five to sit down to eat eg there were only three forks.

Perfect for a weekend away

Location was excellent for central Milton Keynes and the Bowl. House was clean and the garden was secure, which was great for the dog.

Excellent stay! Good value for money.

Amazing host and location! Booked this place for me and my team (total of 4) for training in Milton Keynes and this is the perfect place if I don’t want to drive and walk to the city centre in 7 minutes. Very clean, cosy, comfy rooms with 4 double beds. Safe area and good parking in front of the house and go to other area, just within 15 minutes’ drive. The host is very helpful and always up if you need something.

Even though the house is not in a 5 stars hotel standard but it is an amazing value for a group of 4 or 5 to stay comfortably.

Location for MK1 great

Felt grubby and certainly not clean. Had to kill dozens of Ants around. Bed in third bedroom, almost a mattress on floor as it was so low down. Booked for 2 nights stay, went home rather than sleep in the property a second night. Not a stunning 4 bed property that was described.

Great Stay at Booker Ave

This House was a great find and value for money for a 2 nights stay with parking space. There were 5 ladies living at the house, spacious living room, kitchen and dining area to relax. All bedrooms were nicely decorated, all double /small double beds to each room, tall mirrors, storage space, clean towels and basic toiletries. Would recommend and come and stay here again and host Emma was very helpful with all my queries.

Bathrooms and Bedrooms could have done with some bins for general waste/sanitary. Kitchen didn’t have enough glassware/mugs/cutlery. Oven could have been cleaner or oil free from previous use.

The property was perfect for what we needed over a weekend, close to everything that we needed to be near, very clean, very spacious, comfort was 10/10 it was perfect.

Nothing to light gas hob with. heating, grill and hot water not working properly. Shower temperature not steady, easily scalded. No wine glasses and only 2 mugs. Sour smell from kitchen sink.

Cozy comfortable house big enough for our family.

Giraffe Square was an amazing host, they were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The house has everything we wanted, a well stocked kitchen, warm, excellent shower and really comfortable beds. Will definitely be back!
