Booker Avenue House - 4 bedroom house with garden and parking

+ Perfect size for our family of six. + Quiet, safe neighbourhood + Friendly neighbours! + Comfortable beds, spacious living room + Things like cooking oil, paper towels, dish detergent was supplied. + Plenty of hot water, had great showers, easy to control the central heating. + It was so handy having a second toilet available + Close to a shopping centre + Easy to find on GoogleMaps + Easy and friendly communication with host + Excellent stay for the three nights we were in MK.

+ Driveway is very small. We struggled to park our large VW Multi-Van everyday. + The cul-de-sac the house is located in is also very small, and neighbours park their cars all around it. Manoeuvring our vehicle around it, and in and out was always hard. Something to keep in mind if you're coming in with a big car too. + No kitchen tongs available. + The clothing rack to hang laundry was not a good one. A bit flimsy. Needs to be replaced. + House sleeps 6, but there's only a table for four available.

Comfortable, easy to find, well located, good value.

Not enough glasses. Those that were available were a bit grubby

The property was warm and welcoming. Beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The area was quiet and well kept.

- The location was fabulous, it’s 5 mins away from anything and anywhere, especially big supermarkets and city centre. - We stayed there for an easy commute to Snozone for the kids’ holiday camp, it was fantastic being 5 mins away. - Gulliver resort was also 7 mins away, so a day out was accessible too. - The house definitely have enough space for 3 adults + 5 kids, and the host made sure we have enough plates and cutleries. - Linen, towels and pillows were more than sufficient. - Basic cooking ingredients were provided too, like oil, salt, tea, coffee. - The host came to rescue within the same day when the lighter ran out to kick start the the hob. - the conservatory was available to use, with a functional elliptical machine too! - great size garden (although we didn’t get to use it) - the host had prepared more than enough chairs for us to use at the dining table (those chairs were in bedroom but it’s all good, we could bring it to the dining table easily)

- the house could do with a deep clean, there were random cobwebs and dead insects everywhere. - more bowls were needed but it’s not the end of the world. - there were many places in the house where it was dusty. - the washing machine was unfortunately mouldy. - probably could do with some basic cleaning materials like antibacterial wipes or surface cleaner too.. - 4-slot toaster was half functional, but it wasn’t too bad either, just needed to take a bit more time for a huge family. - some of the rooms had no place to hang worn clothes or even space to put necessities.. - not enough plug points so I’d recommend any families to bring their extension - some of the pots / pans were rusty - random belonging everywhere and we were confused whether we could use them, or it’s really random (i.e. the hairdryer attachment wasn’t the right one for the hairdryer they provided)
