Location was great, just in the center. Perfect spot

brilliant location and cheap when compared to eg Splendido hotel yet same
not an issue for us ( as its the charachetr of the beautiful building) but there is no lift so will have to carry bags up some stairs.That said our host was brilliant in that he not only came to give us the keys but helped carry the bags up the hefty flight of stairs.

The view from the apartment was breathtaking unfortunately thats all I can say about the apartment it was extremely disappointing.
You are clearly paying a high price for the view and because its Portofino. Restaurants were extremely expensive there is very little to do. Its good for a visit but I would not recommend an overnight stay. So many more beautiful places to visit and stay in Italy. you could see everything in an afternoon.
