Great location, poor cleanliness and preparedness.

The location was amazing right in the old town, with a weekly Friday morning market right around the corner and bars and restaurants close by. The hosts were also very responsive.

Two of the four apartments were not cleaned when we arrived after the check in time (dirty sheets, dirty dishes, full garbages after previous tenants). I reached out to the hosts who claimed miscommunication with the cleaning team and rectified this quickly. The couch on the ground floor was extremely uncomfortable. And when renting all 4 apartments, it was rather confusing which codes were for which lockboxes for each of the keys. Also, it was evident that the stairwell hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. There was also not enough toilet paper provided and no hand soap for the washrooms.

The message of the key codes for each property in English could be better, no code was given for one of the 4 apartments and so we needed to ring the host to get it.

Very nice, french style accomodation, with beautiful furniture and high french windows

The property is lovely, with a high french windows, nice wooden floor and furniture, the view from a window pointed to cozy street and the tower of one of the meny beautiful churches close to the location. And the medieval Castle is just few steps from the property, it is very nice and quite place with trees, where is the view to whole city. I did not expected som nice location.

I liked everything about this appartment, sometimes I heart walking my neighbours above, because of the wooden floors, but it didn´t matter so much.

Comfortable stay in a lovely town.

Excellent location in the centre of Caen, apartment was clean and well furnished although if you wanted to cook, facilities are limited. Access was very easy ad the host was accessible at all times and dealt with queries promptly.

Parking is not available and street parking is quite expensive. However, we found free parking within 10 minutes walk.

The place is easy to get in and out, very modern and clean, the location is perfect and the room is quiet.

Maybe they should be more ustensiles for cooking, towels and dish soap for cleaning the dishes. This are details 😃 because except that, the kitchen is well furnished otherwise.

Minimum acceptable

The kitchen was well kitted out. It had 2 plastic chaire and a table The living area was quite spacious but minimalist/spartan. It consists of a bed, TV and only one chair. There were no surfaces anywhere to put cases, clothes or anything on. There were no mirrors. Instructions on how to access BBC news and English channels would have been helpful. The Bathroom was clean and acceptable. However, the hot water was scalding, and one needed to be careful. This needs to be attended to as it is a health and safety issue. Parking was a nightmare. All the parking spots outside the apartment were full and it was not possible to double park to unload the luggage. They had to be transported from afar. Once there, the luggage then had to be carried up a spiral staircase - 36 steps - to the second floor. All in all, this apartment is one of the poorer we have used from Booking.com Jim & Margaret, Ireland

The apartment is in very well positioned and quiet at the same time. it’s well equipped and extremely easy to park a car.

I’d suggest to give another option of pillows to the guests and to put a curtain at the bedroom door

J'ai passé un excellent séjour de deux nuits : deux pièces rénové avec gout, mettant en valeur des matériaux d'origine. Il y a une belle hauteur de plafond, on se croirait dans un palais ! Cuisine bien équipée, literie impeccable et confortable, box internet opérationnelle j'y reviendrai avec plaisir !
