The shower was fantastic; good water pressure. The bed was a true King-sized bed and super comfy. When I read the reviews before coming, I knew to expect night noise, so I came with my earplugs. I was able to sleep because they really work. I chose this apartment because I was staying 8 nights and we needed the washer/dryer. More notes about that in the "what you didn't like" section. I have to hand it to the host; he tried to please and his texts came quickly. He made sure that the staff came to our room when we had a question that needed a detailed explanation. The staff person was super friendly and helpful. I liked having a small kitchenette in the room. I liked the spaciousness of the room. We didn't use the spa facilities (hot tub or sauna) but it was nice to have that option. The location is fantastic in terms of being able to walk or catch a bus from the apartment.

There were problems. First of all, the TV is not your average TV. It's a projector TV with a large screen that descends from the ceiling when turned on. Problem is, if you aren't used to this type of TV you might be disappointed in how long it takes to turn on. You need more instructions as far as how to use it than the property gives you prior to your arrival; I think they could fix that easily with better instructions. This is what you need to know: the top button of the remote is NOT the way to turn it on. In fact, if you press it, you will have to reset the system by turning off the breaker switch on the electrical panel! Instead, you need to press the "NETFLIX" button on the WALL, and wait until the screen descends. If you get a MAXELL screen, as shown in photo #1, you need to press the red button at the top of the remote, but only ONCE during your entire stay. If you accidentally hit that key again, you're going to have to reset the system. Then, when you see a screen like photo #2, choose the first profile to get to screen in photo #3. Then you sign in using the special code the host will send you. IMO, if you can figure out the TV and you don't mind drunks screaming all hours of the night until 6 am, you will have a lovely stay. About the washer/drier: You can find the owners manual online by searching for the make and model. It has a 7 kg capacity, but don't put more than 5 kg at a time if you want the dryer to work. An "eco" load takes almost 6 hours to go from start to finish, and the "delicates" load takes about 4 hours, so be aware of that. And if you want to hang your clothes up to dry, you must have the two windows that actually open Opened because too much humidity might cause the special lighting in the ceiling to flash erratically. The lighting, in my opinion, was the worst thing about this place. Even with a sleep mask on, when those lights flash, they disturb your sleep.

The room had everything we needed and more! Even little details like the ear plugs and eye masks. The location was brilliant, the communication with the host was fantastic and they were very helpful when we needed to get in early and also leave our bags in a locker after we checked out as our flight wasn’t until later. This really did have everything and more!

Automated access made getting in easy. Modern and clean interior. Location is also good, but there is a downside to this. You are on a very busy street with car traffic, restaurants and bars below your window and even with windows closed there is a lot of noise well into 3-4am with garbage, delivery and street cleaning trucks coming in the very early morning. It was very hard to sleep and get any peace of mind. This is a place if you want to do short stay and are only 1-2 people and can sleep like a log and the outside noise doesn't bother you. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've slept in in any place and I've stayed in many places in my travels.

Many of the other critical reviews accurately represent the issues and challenges of staying at this property. The is a really nice on the inside, clean modern, where no expense was spared in terms of putting in lots of amenities. Windows are motorized and double pane, but they should have gone with triple pane windows as there is excessive street noise at all times of the day/night. There is even artwork on the floor and walls. But it appears too much emphasis and expense in the build out was put into things like the art and the more practical things were not considered. Comfort, value and size of the room were problematic. Not good value for money and what is provided; the cost to stay here is double when compared to similar places in Firenze. Too much street noise. It is small and even smaller because the sauna, shower and hot tub take up considerable space. There is also no tabletop surface or places to keep things, the place gets cluttered quickly and is hard to keep clean. The property manager does provide a cleaning every 3-4 days, but for a place like this you have to spend time keeping things tidy especially if there are more than 1-2 people. Only suitable for 1-2 people, again space is an issue. The kitchen is very small with no counter space. So hard to cook anything. There is a small fridge, laundry machine, sink, but not too much in the way of pots/pans, and other things that would be needed in a kitchen, there is however, a very good espresso maker in the kitchen with ample supply of pods and teas and a hot water kettle. The bathroom or I should say bath space was another problem. The toilet is built into a closet space with a pocket door. The sink is a pedestal sink outside which looks nice, but it has no counter therefore you have to put all your toiletries on the ground next to the sink and stand up and crouch down every few minutes to do your morning/evening routine. I would not stay here again.
